  1. I was wondering when this was going to be made public. It will be interesting to see how it goes.
  2. Thanks! Only able to do GameDay and all it said was tagged out at third.
  3. The Angels have an infielder having surgery on bilateral adductors. What si with muscles injuries this year? They should be caught up physically by now. Is it some weird side effect of microdosing that we have seen in football due to the length of the season? It's truly baffling.
  4. I'm not saying he didn't necessarily. Just questioning the concept.
  5. I'm surprised with the injection he is hitting this soon. Must be really progressing well.
  6. Again,if you read my comment it's not a criticism of him specifically but the idea of 6 innings being "doing his job." And it's not that I think he shouldn't throw that many innings, it's physiology. The team will not let him go much more than that based on previous years. They will start skipping him in the rotation.
  7. Did he though? If he was more efficient and pitched deeper into the game, would they have needed to use the more inferior relievers. This isn't so much a criticism of Kopech but more on the state of the game and the way starting pitching philosophy has evolved.
  8. As long as it is consistent with other first time offenses, it's fair.
  9. Remember the year Alexei Ramirez was uncharacteristically bad and we found out the next year he was going through a nasty divorce? You have to wonder if something like that is happening to TA. He's always been somewhat lackadaisical but not this bad.
  10. Because it's not just a contusion.
  11. With the weird hamstring tendon surgery he had who knows how it will effect him. Probably good to rest him from catching more.
  12. The humidity for the ball will be constant this year so it will be interesting to see how the environmental humidity interacts with the ball.
  13. Defense. SB were 100% against Kopech last year. There is more to the game than just hitting.
  14. The good hitters aren't exactly producing now, that's the bigger issue. If they were counting on the above players to carry them that's one thing. But Grandal, Abreu, Robert and Pollock are exactly hitting well either.
  15. We need to hold him to his promise of not being negative all the time. He tends to dig himself a hole as you are pointing out. They have too many good players to be this bad for offense all season. They may not be as good as we thought but they won't be this bad. Only 2 players currently have an OPS over 700. That won't last.
  16. Why do you think they won't score enough runs? Do you truly think that every single hitter will have their worst season ever and regress from the last 2 years? Because that's what it will take. Every hitter in the lineup is currently well below any previous season performance.
  17. Ah, that's true they only list average. So it probably only is truly the batted ball.
  18. That's the way I read it. It when the at bat ends on the next pitch so you could add sac fly/bunt and hit by pitch as well.
  19. Typically, they wait about a week before any strenuous activity after the injection. The report was dated May 6th. So it will probably be Thursday or Friday before they even test it with hitting.
  20. Don't put it on him. I'm just messing with you. Its me being the pain in the rear end not him.
  21. If you want to get really picky, you could interpret it as the "next month" from May 5th so it would be the games during the month of June. June is the next month after May. ?
