  1. 2 young pitchers for 1 outfielder? Now you're speaking my language conceptually anyway.
  2. Just like when they traded Bassitt, they will miss Kelley. Thus one however needs to be done due to their situation.

Added turmeric to the nutrition to help recover from microfracture surgery in the knee. Going to attempt running for the first time this weekend.
  7. You should change the title to TLR and Katz. Katz will have a great if input on these moves.
  8. I would qualify this with winning in the playoffs. He did more than any one could have dreamed of in the regular season. However all of their starters should have been given more rest early due to the previous abbreviated season. It was obvious that none were really ready for the post season.
  9. An awesome balance training workout for right handed pitchers.
  10. Are Cub fans allowed to start game winning threads? ?
  11. No organization would have treated him differently. After 4 April starts very one would assume he was going to get injured or have a performance drop off as that was his history. There was nothing in his past that would have said, wow he is now going to be this pitcher for the rest of the year. It only hindsight that he was going to have a good year. A good April does not predict a good year, for example, Mercedes.
  12. I don't think anyone in their right mind thought Rodon was their best pitcher when the year started. If this was true he wouldn't have signed for 3 million. And yes, organizations treat veterans on minimal contracts much differently than prospects and promising young players. If you thought he was the best pitcher and a Cy Young candidate you need to change your screen name to Nostradamus. As far as the medical team is concerned our job is to try to keep them on the field or get them back as soon as possible. This is not always the priority of the organization.
  13. They burned him early in the season because no one thought he would pitch that well nor stay healthy through it .
  14. As opposed to the people who are currently saying I told you so that the Sox should have signed him because he had a good start and the Sox had injuries to the staff? If they are allowed to scream I told you so now, those who didn't want him can scream that later. Fair is fair .
  15. They said he would be. Just to get him acclimated again and move up quickly
  16. Yes. It doesn't sound too bad if they debated about doing the IL stint. Better to be over cautious this early in the season.
  17. I don't think they are afraid to make moves. It's fitting whatever moves they make under the CBT and to field a well rounded team. I agree they should have improved the rotation. But its not afraid to sign Rodon with his injury history, it's a cascaded decision based on the amount of money to pay him and the possibility of injury
  18. That would be an odd one. The transverse abdominus is more of a slow twitch postural muscle as its fibers go straight side to side Injuries typically happen to the internal or external oblique that are more the fast twitch power muscle for flexion and rotation.
