  1. More for the season ending type not the miss a few start type.
  2. That is true is any weather. It's not a natural motion.
  3. And football is different how? Cross country races for 8 miles in November isn't? All athletes deal with cold, baseball is one if the least physically stressful.
  4. To be clear. I'm not saying that caused the injuries to any of the Sox players, I was answering what COVID body can look like even in highly trained athletes.
  5. That all affects the training, endurance and healing physiology.
  6. As long as you maintain flexibility it's fine. Problem is the wound tight type of guy.
  7. If someone has had COVID especially high level athletes the respiratory system and cardiac system can be affected for a long time. They are finding cardiac issues in collegiate runner a year after. These aren't endurance athletes but no telling some issues with people who train this hard and push their bodies. Wasn't there stories about Giolito training so hard to gain muscle mass?
  8. The injuries are due to the short Spring training. I was referring to the moves or lack thereof.
  9. Could mean a lengthy absence. If they just held him back it a better sign than if he threw a pitch and had to stop. Sounds like its a fairly mild one but no telling for sure. Even a mild one is probably missing a start.
  10. Eww. Abdominal don't get tight. They get strained. Hopefully minor.
  11. Dang, I knew pitching injuries and limitations would be an issue with the shortened spring training but this is getting ridiculous.
  12. Abdominal pain? As in appendicitis or oblique strain?
  13. Was just in San Antonio for a conference. Good time. I like the city.
  14. Wouldn't have been opening day anyway with TA suspended.
  15. No game today so the game thread had to go somewhere.
  16. I think the Moncada injury is all a conspiracy. The Sox wanted an excuse to get Buger in the lineup. Once he does well and Moncada comes back they will move Burger to second and have 2 super utility guys in Garcia and Harrison. TLR likes his utility guys and insisted upon it.
  17. Nice. I'm in the first row, on the aisle in 162. It's nice to get in and out and have no one in front of me. Get a real good look at the CF and LF.
