  1. I would add Robert as well.
  2. An ice cream by me, the creamery, carries rainbow cone. Yum.?
  3. If it's as reported that his name is popular in trade talks he has to have some value.
  4. You would think it would shorten it if anything. No more waiting for thr catcher to flash signals or change them with a runner on 2B.
  5. 90-93. Pitching going to be thin until Lynn returns.
  6. Really looks like the lineup will have either Vaughn or Sheets at 9. I'm surprised and thought TLR would put the "speedy" guy at 9. Maybe he thinks, Vaughn or Sheets will "protect" gim and he'll see better pitches.
  7. I like it. Good use of technology for the game.
  8. This can happen. It's usually not faster probably slower but I just sit and watch the game instead of waiting in line. I'm in 162.
  9. You can order many things on the App and they bring it to your seats. Just can't be in a hurry as it takes a few innings sometimes.
  10. Deny it all you want. It's not a strawman argument as you like to excuse when you don't like the discussion. When would don't like it result to obfuscation and insulting the person.
  11. Buffalo instead of Charlotte. He lost in that deal. I like Buffalo but Charlotte better.
  12. It is semantics as it's not paid by games is service time. If he sits in the bullpen and never pitches he still gets the money. They will not have it all of it accounted fir in the budget. They will have a an estimation of the amount based on how much they think he is going to pitch. They know it's not the full amount as he is starting in the minors.
  13. Budget allotment consists of what the expected expense is. It's a 4.2 mil contract. If it's true he won't be ready until May that's 1/6 of the season he will be missing. So even if stays on the roster for the rest if the year that's a max of 3.5. So the budgeted money starts there max. If they think he won't be there after Lynn returns they budget even less.
  14. It is. Enjoy sports for what they are, entertainment. Whether they win or lose you life is still there. Stop listening to the talking heads whose livelihood depends on sucking you into believing it really matters.
  15. He doesn't need to finish the season. He needs to start it. Lynn will will be back in June.
  16. Yes, but thunk of it without Graveman and eventually Kelly. You essentially have Hendriks and Bummer. That's a lot of late lost leads.
  17. I disagree as the bullpen need to be addressed as well. I still say the bullpen was the weakest link. The lineup was really good already. The pitching staff was good but not deep.
  18. I believe I was the only one to suggest that and was shouted down by the masses stating that RF was the priority.
  19. Yes, being limited by the CBT is a choice. But in reality we know they will stick to it. So we need to work with the budget for it. We can combine a out it all we want but we can't change it. If you want to switch the discussion to them sticki g to the CBT limitation, it's a different discussion.
  20. That would be my guess so that is the challenge now. Find an acceptable pitcher for that price and not trade an MLB important piece.
  21. Right and if you can find another pitcher for that price and not give up the farm for it, it would work. I'm just not sure if that exists. More likely a flier like Cueto. I just would have gone for the pitcher first with the best trade chip in Kimbrel.
  22. So then you are ok with not having any chance of trading for someone at the deadline?
  23. I believe it's 210 for the CBT. Which leaves them about 20. They need to save some for trade deadline acquisitions.
