QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 22, 2010 -> 08:39 AM) Very entertaining episode of Real Time this past weekend. MacFarland was hilarious. I thought Eliot Spitzer was really good too.

Yep, things are going great. Winning hearts and minds by killing their children. Oh, wait sorry it's just “collateral damage.” http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/8518885.stm

I took a fastball to the jaw with bases loaded. Which scored the go ahead run in the playoffs. It was totally worth it. It really hurt though. I won most improved player of the year award the first year I played little league. That was cool. My team won the championship the last year I played. I went out on top.

I know how that goes. Is Fiat making cars for the U.S now?

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 16, 2010 -> 10:26 AM) Watched Big Fan last night. A decent rental. Was expecting it to be a little better although Patton Oswalt was very good. Is this a comedy or like a drama/comedy type movie?

I've been to London. I enjoyed Westminster Abbey, when I went. I also did a Jack the Ripper walking tour, which was really cool. The one I did ended at The Ten Bells pub. The London underground is really a nice way to get around.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 15, 2010 -> 11:52 AM) Here's the best relationship advice I can provide. Frequent this establishment. This is a great place for first dates. Forget the movies.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 15, 2010 -> 09:57 AM) I might have to check it out. I remember enjoying E.H. It's not as good as Even Horizon, but it has that same kinda of feel. Losing your mind in space.

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Feb 15, 2010 -> 09:54 AM) Heaven forbid he not be a left wing fundamentalist. So if you are far to the left you must be a "nutbag" or "fundamentalist"?

Watched Pandorum over the weekend. Pretty good science fiction horror flick. Kinda like Event Horizon.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Feb 13, 2010 -> 09:58 AM) Gillibrand really isn't doing a bad job if you're a Democrat. She has been a lot more to the left than I thought she would be. Especially on social issues.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Feb 12, 2010 -> 03:13 PM) Apparently so. So I guess I'm not just bisexual, but I'm into beastiality, midgets, and cartoons I never realized that sex with Jiminy Cricket would cover almost all sexual fetishes.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 12, 2010 -> 09:13 AM) Only those with at least 4K posts. So what do under 4k posters get? Like a Kia or Daewoo.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 12, 2010 -> 08:32 AM) Some photos I took at the auto show preview yesterday. Word on the street is that you are buying everyone on soxtalk a black Maserati.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 11, 2010 -> 12:26 PM) The legacy costs can't be denied as a factor here, even if you change the subject to another talking point. Simply put the collapse of GM would have happened sooner if they had quit making their most profitable lines while they were still popular, for lines that no one wanted at the time, in hopes that eventually they would be wanted. Don't forget also that a big problem with US autos being undesirable has a large part to do with how they were being built. That all goes back to a workforce that didn't have to care about the quality of what they were building, because the workers were guaranteed their money, no matter what. Toyota came in here with a better product, and a more dependable one, and they did it for a whole lot less than the US workers did. Ah yes it was all the workers fault. Those goddamn unions. Where is the Pinkerton National Detective Agency when you need them!

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 10, 2010 -> 10:00 AM) Interesting read Not to mention that 600 people went to this. Really? 600 people. This thing is getting major coverage and being called a "movement". I wish they gave that much coverage to every left wing protest that was over 600 people.

Laser beam. Classic.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Feb 9, 2010 -> 08:42 AM) The tea partiers think Ron Paul is too extreme? WTF? These guys don't have any idea what they actually want whatsoever. They want to yell and be angry about stuff.
