  1. I had a fly full scale invasion at my place earlier this summer. My dog would chase them around and try to eat them. Than just went away one day. GoSox05's dog - 1 Flies - 0
  2. QUOTE (robinventura23 @ Aug 19, 2009 -> 02:03 PM) There are quite a lot of them in this division. I wonder if its every division. Do other divisions have a Punto, Palanco, Bloomquist problem?
  3. Willie Bloomquist is a rather annoying little player. With his 43 pitch at bat.
  4. So far so good for Jose. He has only 33 pitches through 3. Keep it going Jose.
  5. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Aug 19, 2009 -> 01:40 PM) I love it when you analyze. But, you are correct and I was going to note what BigSqwert noted, but he beat me to it I've learned everything I know about Greinke from Hawk.
  6. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Aug 19, 2009 -> 01:37 PM) Looking at the speed of his pitches...man that guy is filthy. 96 mph fast ball followed by a 74 mph slider. Plus he has awesome control with all of them.
  7. I think RB for Bears and Packers are about even. Forte and Grants numbers last year are about the same. Same with back ups.
  8. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Aug 19, 2009 -> 10:08 AM) hopefully if it's a close game and 1st base is open with Butler up Ozzie lets someone else beat them today He only had 14 doubles yesterday.
  9. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Aug 19, 2009 -> 10:03 AM) This is lasting longer then I expected. I thought he was supposed to be back today.
  10. Boston is fun L.A is cool, but too crowded. Twin Cities - cool cities. Would be cooler if you could get rid of Twins and Viking fans.
  11. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Aug 19, 2009 -> 09:53 AM) What's up with Thome? He's got a foot thing. Day to day.
  12. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Aug 19, 2009 -> 08:24 AM) I've been a Packer fan for decades, so yes, I've watched him. He has talent...too bad he's a FA soon. Also, he's not very good under game time pressure. As soon as it's the 4th quarter he has shown a lack of ability to make a comeback...until he does that, he's not going to be called the successor, at least not by me. I don't think Rodgers was that bad in 4th quarters last year. A couple of times he took the team down the field and put the team ahead late. The D than usually gave it up. Which forced Rodgers to come back again, usually with little time left. Rodgers also signed a nice contract during last year. 65 mil over 6 years. Which is nice compared to what Eli got and what Cutler is gonna get.
  13. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Aug 18, 2009 -> 04:17 PM) So, you are saying you would only boo Favre in the last game of the year just as he releases a bomb to the corner? Favre is the Packers Franchise, just like Frank is a huge part of the Sox. I never nor would I ever boo Frank. And Frank never led our franchise to the promised land. No, I'm not really booing him. I just don't want him to do well for the Vikings. If he does well odds are the Packers won't win the division and The Vikings do. I cheered him on last year with the Jets.
  14. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Aug 18, 2009 -> 04:03 PM) Most likely since you've been alive, the Pack has been Brett Favre. They are the same entity. It would be like booing Frank Thomas, but worse. What if Frank Thomas went to the Twins and we were facing the Twins in the last game of the year. Winner takes the division. Frank is up with to bat in the 9th with bases loaded, 2 outs, tie game. Do you hope he hits a grand slam or strikes out?
  15. Favre retired than unretired and the retired and than wanted to come back. At that point the Packers said enough is enough. I don't blame them. I'm a Packer fan not a Brett Favre fan. I will go backing to liking Favre after he retires(like about 5 years to make sure), but while he is on the Vikings he is an enemy.
  16. QUOTE (rangercal @ Aug 18, 2009 -> 03:11 PM) I think the packers should worry more about the Lions instead of the Vikings or Bears. 3rd place sounds about right for the Pack. Why do you think they are gonna be in 3rd?
  17. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 18, 2009 -> 02:38 PM) If he stays healthy and has a running game behind him. Thats the same story for every QB in football.
  18. QUOTE (lostfan @ Aug 18, 2009 -> 02:25 PM) I hate the Packers but I hope Rodgers has 700 yards and 6 TDs against the Vikings in the 2 games. Rodgers has handled all this as best you could. I expect him to have a great year.
  19. Wow. I hope he falls on his face. As a Packer fan I can't wait till he comes to Green Bay. We are gonna kick his ass.
