Garcia needs to find out who stole his 94 mph fastball. Until he does, hes a junk thrower with no out pitch.

Pure Speculation: Garcia, Vazquez and Fields for Carlos Zambrano
GoSox05 replied to shoota's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Is this just completely made up or has this actually been talked about? I don't see the Cubs trading there one solid healthy pitcher. -
Mariotti is pretty much on perment vaccy from the sun-times. When asked about when he would be back the sun-times just said "weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks". Thats why you dont mess with Ozzie.

Unless the Phillies wanna dump Meyers because of his attitude, your gonna have to give a ton up to get him. Gordon you'll probably have to give Garcia. which im fine with. So the question with Myers is, do you look past the fact that the guy is a wife beater for his real good pitching? its a moral thing.
-
Maybe he;s trying to over due it. Maybe thats why his pitches are up in the zone. I think he's due for a win streak. So is Javy. Garland has already started his. Garcia is never going to have one.
-
yeah and i think we could get something for him. Starting pitching is always wanted. Even if it isnt that good.

I call for Stewart. At this point things couldnt get any worse as far back up catchers go.

A.J's Fine reduced to $250, BUT...
GoSox05 replied to South Side Fireworks Man's topic in Pale Hose Talk
there are so many nasty things i want to say right now, but i don't know where to start. If you start fining players for bunting and sliding to hard or just playing hard, well than your ruining MLB. What a joke. Fining someone for bunting. YOu gotta be F'n kidding me. -
7/14 Game Thread: White Sox vs. Yankees
GoSox05 replied to Gregory Pratt's topic in 2006 Season in Review
lets rock those Yanks. Id like to see them beat up on RJ. That gruppy old man. -
Who does everyone think will be the next Starting pitcher on the White Sox to come from our farm system? And how soon? I think maybe Lance Broadway in a year or two.

Garcia/Vazquez for Tom Gordon being discussed
GoSox05 replied to southsider2k5's topic in Pale Hose Talk
i would love to have flash back. YOu could almost count on teams not scoring innings 7, 8, and 9. If we were to move Bmac to the starting rotaion. We would need someone to be are long reliever. Tracey maybe. -
It seems like we have the upper hand. The Mets know that if there gonna do anything theyll need better starting pitching. If we got Milledge, i wonder if we would trade him or bring him up and trade Anderson.

QUOTE(beck72 @ Jul 14, 2006 -> 08:47 AM) Texas might be looking for a SP. Franciso Cordero in set up for the sox would be a nice move. Texas does have a nice bullpen that could absorb his loss http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dw...at.4658e98.html I thought Cordero was having a real bad year? Didnt he lose his closer job? Id hope we'd be able to get more than that.

Players the White Sox are scouting/looking at...
GoSox05 replied to AWhiteSoxinNJ's topic in Pale Hose Talk
yea so far Qualls hasnt had the best track record at US Cellular. But than again he wouldnt be facing the white sox. How come we're not scouting Carl Everett? -
Is this the year that the Sox have a 50 homerun hitter?
GoSox05 replied to tonyho7476's topic in Pale Hose Talk
hell yea. Scottie Pods. may, june, july - 2 august - 49 -
Didnt Myers punch his wife in the face? Yeah Philly you can keep him. I thought the one player The Phillies were happy with was Rowand. I dont see them trading him.
-
I think are starting pitching will get better. We have to many good, healthy, experinced pitchers to have ERA's in the 5's.
-
Sierra has got to be in his 50's by now. Maybe 60's.
-
I like Jason Schmidt. I just wish he was about 4 to 5 years younger.
-
www.mlbtraderumors.com has a big story about it. I dont know about trading Anderson and Bmac.

Its tough to choose beetween these guys. Im gonna go with Dye. Hes been a rock all year putting huge number, clutch hits and solid defense. A close second would be Carl Everett tough.

QUOTE(illinilaw08 @ Jul 10, 2006 -> 11:58 AM) I was wearing my BMac jersey Saturday at the game as well... I don't know why Brandon's mom didnt see me at the top of section 531. Cause you were in outer space and she left her space suit at home.

QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 10, 2006 -> 12:46 PM) Buehrle's still in. So the more deserving guy dropped out. It has nothing to do with that. Its cause jose threw about 120 pitches yesterday. Same reason Schilling isnt going.

Im not abig fan of the HR derby, i hope Dye does well though. Id much rather watch a duck snort derby basestealing derby double play turning derby sac fly derby strikeout derby sac bunt derby.
