  1. QUOTE(shakes @ May 25, 2005 -> 01:49 PM) Since everyone loves to bash Crede, and I'm starting to hop on that bandwagon, I thought I'd bring this up. It looks like the Reds are going to have a firesale. I think Joe Randa would be an upgrade that could be had for a reasonable price. Any takers? I still dont get why no one likes Joe Crede. Yes he has had some ups and downs with the bat, but he still has one of the best gloves at third base in the league. Also, he is our 8 hitter, he will hit around .250 with 20 hrs and 65 rbi's. That is pretty good for your 8 hitter. Im sure there are several teams that would love that kind of glove and offensive production out of the 8 spot. So until his defense starts to slip, I think Joe Crede is a more then capable 3rd basemen for us.
  2. QUOTE(Middle Buffalo @ May 19, 2005 -> 01:08 AM) Probably not the most popular opinion, but I don't think Frank is a HOF. I think his declining numbers in the past few years hurt his chances. First 6-7 years - absolute first ballot, but not anymore me thinks. Still can't wait for him to come back. Favorite WS is Black Jack. He gave those early 90's teams their attitude. Those A's-Sox matchups back then were classic. Loved Rudy Law, too. Hope Pods can break his SB mark (77 I believe). Frank she definitley be in the HOF. Not only will he hit 500 home runs in his career, he most likely bat over .300 for his career. Also he has more walks then strike outs and has one of the best OBP ever.
  3. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 19, 2005 -> 12:44 AM) You don't have to agree. I doesn't bother me too much. I remember Herb, I pretty much liked him for his name.
