.350 BABIP + 5% K rate ~ .330 BA. If he hits in the .330s, he'd be a high .800s-low .900s OPS guy.

I don't understand this when 3 good months of Kahnle made him the main piece for Rutherford.

Someone said earlier that Medeiros reminds them of Rodon, I think that's the best comparison. Slider is filth, has plus-plus potential if he can locate it, fastball is average to above, needs to develop the change and control. A poor man's Carlos Rodon is a great comp IMO. Hopefully he can reach that potential.

I think the White Sox will bring him stateside.

They turned Soria into two interesting arms starting each with K/9 in the 10 range at their respective levels in the Brewers organization. Medeiros has an above average fastball and plus slider per fangraphs. He's also a 22 year old having a good year in AA and a LHSP. Perez is doing very well in role ball, but should probably be moved up as he is nearly 21. Likely needs to be challenged. Kodi Medeiros, Wilber Perez, and Luis Avilan is a very good return for Jake Peter and cash.

That deal is basically that plus two lottery tickets.

There was no mention of lifting the cap on social security wages, increasing individual and corporate tax rates to pre-Reagan levels, or abolishing the practice of "stashing profits overseas" (merely an accounting trick, those companies have access to as much of that money as they want in the US) by forcing those companies to pay all their overdue taxes. In fact, the two clearly articulated tax policies by former Secretary Clinton were horribly regressive. She planned to extend self-employment taxes to S Corporations, which would've ended one of the biggest small business tax breaks that exists, and she agreed with Trump that a repatriation holiday would be a good idea, despite the evidence from the Bush repatriation holiday that it doesn't work. Both of those policies are horribly regressive and benefit no one except the wealthy.

If you can't deal him, DFA him. Too many young pitchers in the org that need an opportunity.

If you believe him, he's not actively seeking the rep seat in the 14th district, so either way it's fraud. If you don't believe him, then he's committing a Democrat faux pas by running a sore loser campaign. There are no other options.

I completely understand why the Red Sox did what they did and they're certainly getting good value out of Sale, value for which the White Sox had no use. But the White Sox could still get more value, and more appropriately timed value, out of Moncada, Kopech, and Basabe than they ever would have gotten out of Sale.

Yes, which is consistent with my position that Crowley should get off the ballot. If the Democratic party truly wants the elected representative of the people in their primary to be the only person facing any potential Republican challenger, then they'd support both actions. Of course, the establishment wants establishment candidates, so they're not going to support the same idea they've pushed on progressives for decades when progressives start winning.
