A 3-4 starter is a 2-3 WAR player. An .800-.850 OPSing Gold Glove 2B is a 4-5 WAR player. That's the difference.

It's not worse by much, and C is a much more premium defensive position than 3B.

I keep saying the upside is Altuve, but no one else seems to see that. Not even Fangraphs, whose tool grades essentially have him as an .800-.850 OPSing Gold Glove 2B.

Two practice swings trying to adjust his swing to produce more loft produces a no doubter crushed HR. That's bat control. The White Sox aren't great at developing hit tools. Take the guy with 80 bat control and develop everything else.

If Madrigal goes 3, Bohm should be the pick at 4. In other news, is it 6:30 yet?

Watch the above video. That is why the White Sox need to draft Madrigal. Draft prospects that have that kind of bat control almost never come along, and the hit tool is, IMO, the organization's weakest developmental point. His hit tool is developed. Take him.

Why? Singer is awful and Madrigal literally adjusted the loft in his swing mid AB yesterday to crush a HR. That's how good his bat control is.

Bohm screams middle of the order bat to me, which is why I'd rather have him than Bart. With the rarity of good hitting, good defense Cs, I can understand preferring Bart, but I'm not too high on the org's ability to improve questionable hit tools, and Bart's hit tool is the biggest question about his game as I understand it.

I'd take Madrigal over anyone not named Casey Mize in this draft, so the answers were Madrigal, Madrigal, and yes.

That scenario would force the only tough decision in my mind in this class at 4, Madrigal or Bohm. I'd still take Madrigal, but it'd be hard to pass on Bohm.

School pedigree and name recognition is carrying Singer at the moment.

Most of the good players in that first round are in the top 12. Gerritt Cole is the only one who isn't.

Fangraphs guys think he will be taken. Some team will care about value.

Hopefully they also go for the productive bat in this scenario. I don't care if that's Madrigal or Bohm.

Other than Casey Mize. Oh, and Luke Heimlich, but I know no one wants to draft him.

Except that Rodon was actually good. Singer is mediocre.
