A couple of the gamethread regulars really need to get laid. They'd probably complain about it, too.

There's nothing like a feel good thread on a Sunday morning.

Reed looked good for the first 3 batters. I don't worry about his fastball. It has good movement and velocity isn't a concern to me. I do worry about the tilt on his slider. His offspeed stuff leaves a lot to be desired. He's a weird pitcher in that he doesn't miss many bats, but still strikes a lot of guys out.

Just like a Danks to screw up a feel good outing.

There goes some heat for all the velocity babies.

Nearly every one of our pitchers is overthrowing everything and struggling with location. The heat of a pennant chase might be affecting them.

Was Crain ever a starter in the minors? He throws 3+ pitches.

The rumors of Sale and Crain's demise have been greatly exaggerated.

Crain's stuff is looking great today too. Encouraging. *no jinx*

I told you guys Sale's stuff looked great today. As soon as he settled down and located the offspeed stuff, he dominated.

That was the best slider he's thrown all day. 2 now. All of our pitchers have been too concerned with trying to miss bats lately. They're overthrowing and trying to be too fine.

Beckham deserves more blame than Ventura. I don't care who you are, you have to be able to get the ball out of the IF in that situation. Beckham just sucks.
