    Thematically, I like the Western aspect. It's the narrative that's full of tropes. It's like Star Wars is completely incapable of doing anything original.

    As others have pointed out, he has very similar fly ball numbers to Gio. I think there's value in having a left handed vet on this staff, but if the rumors about his price tag are true, I'm a no.

    I think Wheeler is a better pitcher than Bumgarner, but I also think Bumgarner is a better fit for the Sox. Roster construction matters.

    Wheeler looks better because he throws 1000mph, but his actual performance has always left a little to be desired. I think he's probably the riskiest of that group.
