I don't really GAF if they fire pedro or not I just once again dont see any obvious utility in thrusting in some White Sox coach (you know they aren't going to bring in anybody else in season) who is even more in over his head than Pedro for the last 60 games or so.

So you're basing your opinion on a guy that is a well known sounding board for GMs in exchange for access? Come on. Think critically. These are simply feelers to try and drive down Robert's value. Robert is a star. The 100 games thing is a canard as he played almost every game in the covid season, almost hit 100 the next, then played 145 last year and should hit 100 again this year. He's been hurt closer to 20% of the time than 40% and any team trading for him has to think they can do a better job than the Sox preventing soft tissue injuries.

I like the picks. We've done well developing TOR lefties so might as well stick with it. High school kids with the next picks seems smart as well. We're going nowhere fast. Maybe in 2028 they will have emerged and help us up at the big league level.
