He's really not any good anymore. Too many injuries, too much of a mental disaster.
-
lol.

Hey you said it, I'm trying my best not to use any insensitive terms but we're gonna get slaughtered. This is like the Comanche against an East Texas wagon train.
-
We're gonna get massacred by the Braves.

Wow 40 doubles! 90 RBI! Is this 1987?
-
Kinda begs the question of why tho? The Sox really can't kick the idea that KW is still the man behind the curtain. Personally I think he's maybe involved in some scouting but that's it. The Sox should probably just let him and Hahn go at the same time, get two birds stoned with one joint when the time comes.

That's gonna be 3 delays and at least two cancellations.

I was a big Moncada fan for various reasons, including because for a minute he was an absolutely elite defensive 3B, Crede like vacuum, but that guy is gone. I think he's just got a bum back. He can't generate the power he did a few years ago, he can't move and run like he did, a bad core will ruin any athlete quick. At this point he should probably just sit out the rest of the year and if that doesn't clear up the issues when he tries to play next year he should try surgery, exploratory or otherwise.

Ozzies true talent as a manager peaked in 2005 and by the time he was done in Florida he was a shell of the guy we had before his decline. He was unable to relate to players and the media became his therapist, which does not work for the clubhouse. He also quit on the Sox which should preclude him from ever managing here again. I love the guy but no.

Two franchises that really know what they are doing making another smart move on the margins. Stay winning.

I've said that for years now. If people really believe that Hahn doesn't have 100% control that just means he's a cuck with no self respect prostrating himself at the alter of JR. That's...not any better than being a bad GM. In fact, it's arguably worse as you noted because there's a lack of self respect if that's the case.

sounds like the ramblings of a drunk moron. you can get that for free from me. none of his points have much basis in reality.

Robert Injured in HRD; Out for at least ASG
chitownsportsfan replied to Heads22's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Oh well, doesn't really matter honestly. Tightness in the calf is a two week injury at most. Hopefully the Sox lose every game he's out so hahn continues to be a naked emperor. -
Seems like Colson is absolutely tearing the cover off the ball at WS. It's too bad he lost two months as otherwise he'd probably already be in B-Ham. I'd think they promote him sometime around August if he keeps this up so he can get a full month or so. Start next season at AA and see how it goes from there.

I personally haven't perceived a racial double standard with how TA and Giolito's marital issues have and are being discussed. What is different is that there is a child involved in TAs case which for quite a few reasons makes TAs infidelity worse. I don't think that's really debatable. At the end of the day I think you can say that if TA was hitting 300/330/500 nobody would give half a f*** about his off field life. When he's been arguably the worst regular in baseball and is sub tweeting s%*# about being disrespecting and how unfair everything is OF COURSE fans are going to b**** and moan. Come on, that's part of being a pro ball player. Perform on the field and the fans are gonna give you grace. Suck ass and the fans are gonna boo and critique. TA is lucky he plays in Chicago and not NYC or LA.

Athletes, entertainers and public figures are in the public eye. With great money and fame comes the speculation. Is it fair? Eh, what is in life. I'm not going to speculate beyond a shitpost in joke for Sox fans here on the forum but it kinda is the deal you sign up for when you sign that pro contract. Gio, coming from a Hollywood background, surely understands it more than...TA.

Edit: eh, wrong time wrong place.

lol, his approach is literally the same it's been since he was a rookie.

I love randy arozarena, but let's go Luis.

I really feel like ESPN holds baseball back in these broadcasts.
