  1. Chicago dogs are great. Almost all hot dogs are great. It's hard to screw up a hot dog, even one sitting around in room temp water. It's salted processed meat. Most the time it will taste good.
  2. yea, novelty isn't there anymore tho. and with sox mediocre season just don't really feel that celebratory like last year.
  3. watched the derby last night that was fun, almost no interest in the game tonight. if Cease had made it I'd watch his inning I guess.
  4. There are proposed trades from Sox fans on Twitter that consist of Colson, Cease/Kopech and Vaughn for Soto. These people are insane and idiots. That trade makes the sox 3-5 wins worse.
  5. his play in the OF coupled with this bout of "dizziness" is naturally worrying imo. that said, he's probably fine I'm just doom mongering.
  6. Eh, maybe. He's also just a kid relatively so I'm sure he's almost always looking at things optimistically. Hopefully it means he got a clean bill of health.
  7. unexplained dizziness in an otherwise healthy 20 something is always worrying. I hope it's just dehydration or something and not something more serious.
  8. Don't like how the Sox have handled this.
  9. baseballthinkfactory had a good discussion on it. he's worth maybe like one top 50 guy and then one average regular. The Sox could easily get him for Colson and Vaughn and a couple lotto tickets. Thing is, does that make the Sox better the next 5 years? Maybe. But I'm not sure. Certainly not if they don't resign him.
  10. Yea, add Grandal. Don't trade for one, because it won't end well.
  11. Why even send that email? Should have just said nothing.
  12. Not much surplus value. Colson and Kopech would be a fair offer imo.
  13. I think something is going on. I hope he is ok honesty. Light headedness in a healthy twenty something otherwise is concerning. Maybe he had a concussion earlier in the year.
  14. Eh, it's more about the refinement in the offseason to know you have more than one good pitch each night you can command, that just takes time. Kopech seems mentally tough to me.
