  1. Yea Pierre and Pods. Thing is, in their prime, those guys had actual other tools. It's like ok fine you can't throw but you can run and hit a bit. Meanwhile you have the zero tool player Beni.
  2. Should be out of the inning if the LF had any arm. Pathetic. And then the 2nd run scores because of air mailing the cut off knowing you're throwing a fucking rainbow that has no shot. I fucking hate this team man. But it's fascinatingly bad.
  3. It's hard to believe that's a major league OF's arm. That was like when the dude with no arm airmails it back to the fungo guy.
  4. what a fucking noodle arm. even stone calls him out.
  5. It's sad what a man will say when his paycheck depends on it.
  6. I know you don't like "metrics" but how about division? He's now 2/17 on would be base stealers. By my math that's about a 12% CS rate, that any good?
  7. HR since 2022: Danny Mendick, 2. Tim Anderson, 1.
  8. That's an error. And he was covering 1st Stone, he just threw it to 2nd for some reason.
  9. On a good Sox team I'd probably like De Bong. He swings hard in case he hits it.
  10. effectively wild, but bordering on just wild.
  11. Yup. He has a hitch in his swing now that wasn't there a few years ago. I think he tried to gear up for more power and it's just screwed up everything.
  12. That was something. 92mph fastballs, catcher wanted it up, it's right in almost every modern hitters' wheelhouse instead, down the middle at the upper shin and somehow he manages to pop it up? How do you even get that swing path as a MLB player? That's like a little league swing result.
  13. If Gavin is really going to be taking late count outside fastballs into LF we might have a true talent jump.
  14. Pham is in great shape. I can respect that.
  15. Even when this team does something well the coaches try and f*** it up.
  16. hanging slider popped up. Come the f*** on.
  17. I hope he asks him how it feels to kill someone.
  18. Why is this ass clown Tony Stewart in the booth? f*** this franchise.
  19. Swinging a dead bat. Jesus, I thought that was off the wall off the bat.
  20. And get this: the race takes place in Paul's guest bathroom. He's got the room Stone Pony.
  21. Having been in many PT rooms both as patient and observer, I can tell you yes, this is a lot of the times what happens. Doctors and therapists can do diagnostic tests and run scans, but only the athlete knows what they are feeling and when they are feeling 100%. There's a lot to rip on with the Sox. Not sure Luis Robert being injury prone (or Moncada and Eloy) is really on the training staff. At a certain point it's down to bad luck, the individual's ability to avoid injury, and not selecting injury prone players in the first place. Easier said than done.
