  1. Darrin Erstad is now hitting .240 with an OPS of .681, with 1 home run and 2 RBI. Grindingly.
  2. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Apr 11, 2007 -> 02:34 PM) BTW Crede with an impressive day series at the plate. He hasn't a single hit in 3 games. Fixed that for you. Masset and Thor working.
  3. QUOTE(SoxAce @ Apr 11, 2007 -> 02:32 PM) BTW I just got home from a call-in from work. How does Buehrle look? Buehrle had a bad 1st inning, but only allowed 2 baserunners after the 1st in 7 innings, one of which was retired on a GIDP. Had a 10 retired in a row and a 6 retired in a row streak or so.
  4. Erstad is now hitting .240 and his OPS has fallen below .700 again. Edit: Grindingly.
  5. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Apr 11, 2007 -> 02:25 PM) This game is really moving Aka, Mark Buehrle is pitching.
  6. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Apr 11, 2007 -> 02:20 PM) Pods is so damn fast...I'm surprised he's ever doubled up. AJ hadn't left first yet and sort of got in Scotty's way. Scotty's still fast I swear!
  7. QUOTE(Capn12 @ Apr 11, 2007 -> 02:15 PM) Just a question, but why no PH with Ozuna or such, THEN make a move after the pitching change. Now you just got aced because AJ HAS to stay in to hit against a lefty. Ozuna is a righty. Geren would have just stayed with Calero.
  8. Jay Marshall in. Spent last season with Winston-Salem in the White Sox organization.
  9. Uribe pops out to Scutaro. AJ to pinch hit.
  10. Buehrle has allowed 1 baserunner in the past 4+ innings I believe.
  11. QUOTE(hitlesswonder @ Apr 11, 2007 -> 02:08 PM) Look, I actually like Anderson. He just doesn't have a place on this team. And declaring he should be starting based on a nice catch in the OF seems like overkill. Just wait until we get a statistically significant set of at bats from Erstad and Podsednik, and we'll see.
  12. QUOTE(caulfield12 @ Apr 11, 2007 -> 02:06 PM) How long before Walker is fired? It's not the pitching right now...seems like the media always wants to pin it on the hitting coach. Ozzie's very loyal, it will be interesting to see how long this offensive slump goes on. We need to be ready to play our next two series or we could get knocked out of the race in the first month of the season. Ok, it's not that smart to even think about being knocked out of the race 1 month into the season. Not even remotely. Seems each of the last few years, someone has gone down big in the first month or two and still made the playoffs. Astros, A's, Cardinals I think, etc.
