  1. That 1 play should drop Crede from 4th to like 9th in the AL in fielding percentage amongst 3rd baseman. That's basically the last error he can make this year if he wants a gold glove.
  2. QUOTE(greg775 @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 07:04 PM) He's still a gold glover. You know how that dropped popup to Manny ensured he didn't win a GG last year? That's sort of the same thing.
  3. QUOTE(greg775 @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 07:03 PM) Are you really that mad at Crede or is this how these threads go every night? Crede is a god. That was one of the stupidest plays I've seen all year.
  4. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 07:01 PM) That was a textbook short hop that MLB players need to make. Crede got a little lazy on it....he needs to know not to throw that. I understand missing the hop with the baserunner right there, but everyone in the ballpark and watching on TV knew Crede was insane trying to make that throw. He couldn't have thrown out the mutated love child of Bengie Molina and Paul Konerko.
  5. Pitch 111 coming, that's the most Jose has thrown in any start this season.
  6. The only true lefty in Detroit's lineup tonight is Alexis Gomez, so Ozzie'll probably use Montero.
  7. QUOTE(JimH @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 06:50 PM) Walks Granderson, that's basically a double. He's only 4/8 in SB this season according to the Tigers' announcers. Montero and Cotts up.
  8. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 06:46 PM) Pretty ridiculous. Plus he just got another 1st pitch out. Among the league leaders for that stat. As a trade off for a .324 batting average, I'll take it.
  9. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 06:45 PM) A.J. needs to just take a pitch next at bat. I don't care if it's tonight, tomorrow, the next day.....take a pitch or two. At any rate, 3-2 good guys heading to the 7th. I think AJ's plan tonight was to not let Verlander get ahead of him using the fastball. He just hasn't been able to hit the first pitch fastballs.
  10. That knuckle curve on pitch 1 has been called a strike all night.
