Priority #1 in my book is resigning Mark Buehrle. For that, it might not hurt to have Garland around either. Given that keeping Freddy Garcia and Keeping Jon Garland are our 2 options, and neither one of them is a bad option, unless someone gives us a vastly better offer for Garland than Garcia, my vote is that JG stays.

We've known this guy was going down for quite some time. The Feds raided his offices before Katrina...he's the one who used the military or the Guard to sneak back into his house after the storm to retrieve some sort of documents, and no one really knows what he grabbed.

Apprehensions do not necessarily = crossings. Despite budget cuts, they have increased the number of agents, and likely the effectiveness of agents, along the border. There were reports a few weeks ago that due to increase enforcement, coyotes were having to come up with new ways to smuggle people across, like in the dashboards of vans or something like that.
