Chris Matthews has accepted fees of about $35,000 for speeches he has given on behalf of health care related industries, in violation of MSNBC policy. Edit: NBC is now saying that Matthews gave all of the money to charity, and doing otherwise would have gotten him fired. Better than their original "He wasn't there" defense.

Hell, we saw Larry Brown turn the right kind of people into champions. If Tim Thomas doesn't fit in with Skiles's system...fine. Let them do their work, accept that we are taking a step back this season, and let's make our runs in 07 and beyond, once we have the talent we need.
