  1. Clifford comes in for Neal. Neal throws 1 pitch. There's an effective way to use our relief pitchers. And I like Cliffy.
  2. GODf***INGDAMNSONOFAb****GODBLOODYf***INGHELLISHDAMNASSs***TYb****ES
  3. Well, here's a chance for Dye to improve his "Clutch" number or whatever the hell that statistic in the Dye thread was.
  4. AJ...FLY BALL TO AN OUTFIELDER OR GROUND BALL TO THE RIGHT HAND SIDE. Unless you want to get a base hit. But do one of those!
  5. I agree with Rooney and Farmer...let the Gooch swing away.
  6. Putting Pressure on defenses. Over and over and over again its proven to work. Over and over and over again.
  7. The Much dreaded leadoff walk... Hmmm, MLB Radio is now about 2 pitches behind Gameday.
  8. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Sep 26, 2005 -> 06:05 PM) Cotts could've been more efficient, but I'll take it.
  9. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 26, 2005 -> 06:03 PM) True, but that's just using hindsight. It's the type of change I'd like to see him make late in the game to possibly squeak us out a run, etc. Normally I would disagree with you about this case, since we're on the road and the game is tied, and if Everett was hitting at all I'd say I wanted the bat in there just for when/if his spot comes up again. But then again...with the way Everett is hitting right now, pinch running Anderson really couldn't hurt us, could it?
  10. Neal throws 1 pitch. Me Likey. Now manufacture something in the 8th!!!
  11. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Sep 26, 2005 -> 06:01 PM) Wouldn't have mattered. We would have just wasted a PR. On a DP. According to Farmer...the only reason that was a double play is that Everett took off on a hit and run...Polanco was moving towards second early, and that put him in position to field the ball. If we didn't H&R, that ball might have gotten through. In other words, it was just terrible luck.
  12. Ok, past Ordonez. Right now...this is where I'm glad they don't have Rondell White.
  13. QUOTE(Frankensteiner @ Sep 26, 2005 -> 05:59 PM) Everybody should know by now. I don't get why everyone's so surprised. We're not. That's why we're spelling out in advance that we don't think he should be in there.
  14. Ok...i'm willing to not complain if Garland is sent out if 2 conditions are met. 1. Garland does not allow anyone on base. Anyone gets on...he's out. 2. Garland throws more than 12 pitches this inning...he's out at the end of that at bat.
  15. Pitch 21 of the inning turns into a double play....argh.
  16. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Sep 26, 2005 -> 05:54 PM) Detroit's announcer just said the White Sox know how to wear down opposing pitchers.
