QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 12, 2010 -> 04:37 PM) these new home uni's are exactly like the old sox unis Are they new or throwbacks? They seem to have a yellow tint to them which is usually a tell-tale sign of throwback jerseys.

Wonder who's gonna start the Pods / Pierre stat tracker.

QUOTE (scenario @ Apr 11, 2010 -> 12:41 PM) Just saw this and it made me say 'hmmm'.... Manny got his 2,500th hit yesterday. Which means that over the course of their careers, Omar Vizquel has over 200 more hits than Manny. Just thought that was interesting. -
Verlander getting shelled, giving up 5 runs in the 1st.

QUOTE (daa84 @ Apr 9, 2010 -> 11:41 PM) nothing like good ole soxtalk overreaction i know we havent been good offensively at all, but you realize we are facing rauch in the bottom of the inning, right? How many names could you replace Rauch with from the last 3 games and have the same argument? -

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Apr 9, 2010 -> 11:17 PM) Like a potential #2 starter, a power-hitting catcher, a toolsy CF with great D for a mammoth park, and the Cuban Babe Ruth? The Padres are going to ask for a lot, not the world Boston wants him bad. I'm sure Theo Epstein already told them he will trump any offer for Adrian Gonzalez. -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 9, 2010 -> 10:08 PM) It was buried down in the corner, the TV has no obvious shot that shows where it hit. Twins broadcast showed it bounced off the chalk. -

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 09:03 PM) The most obnoxious thing is Hawk's already making excuses for the bad offense. Rios K'd on a pitch a foot low and a foot off the plate, and he's stating how nasty the pitch was. I was getting pissed that I have to watch the Indians broadcast again, but it seems like I'm better off. -

QUOTE (elgonzo4sox @ Mar 31, 2010 -> 07:53 AM) Have another drink my friend, and relax. Opening Day is but 5 days away. We're going to have some fun this year! Nothing personal, it just seems people think that the Twins will view grass as some alien element. They played on it every year, just not at home. -
this looks sweet.

1. That was the University of Minnesota Gophers. 2. They play outside every year. -

They just launched the new satellite (D12) tonight. Hopefully they'll have WGN America HD before the baseball season starts.
