Any player destined to play on Sundays should skip bowl games, including ones in the so-called playoff. Why should they risk injury for someone else’s payday.

You joke, but really, think about it. Why does MLB do internal investigations? They aren't the FBI or any type of law enforcement. It's all about how it's going to (or likely to) splash back on them.
