Uh-oh...Harrelson wants to hold on until 2020
Big Hurtin replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I'd rather listen to the ambient sound of a public restroom in a village with a cholera outbreak, than listen to Hawk call another game. -
Damn, I thought it was going to be that they both decided to retire.

White Sox waiting for bigger offers on Sale

QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Nov 28, 2016 -> 04:27 PM) Watch them wait for weeks and then not pull the trigger on anything. That would be so typical. or months..., or years... -
QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 22, 2016 -> 02:35 PM) Trump met with NYTimes, and had this to say: https://twitter.com/maggieNYT/status/801126093776449537 I'm glad he said that. I wish he would have more press interviews where this can all be discussed instead of Twitter. Ugh, it just brings to mind Howard Stern playing audio of his father saying "shut up, you know why."

I blame Mark Zuckerberg. (Only semi-sarcastic)

So, how long do you think the "not Hillary" hangover will last? By that I mean how long will the people who voted for him wait to turn on him for not doing what he campaigned on. (Deporting Mexicans and Muslims, prosecuting Clinton). That's a couple of examples I don't see happening. (at least not wholesale (deportations))

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 8, 2016 -> 09:30 PM) Watching msnbc is like watching people talk at a finial. This is a real scare, here It's like watching a football game where they're like, "if they get a quick touchdown and recover an onside kick and another quick touchdown..."

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 8, 2016 -> 09:44 PM) I'm going to hold out hope. I'm going to get drunk.

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Nov 6, 2016 -> 05:13 PM) Tuesday, this s*** ENDS! AND if Trump supporters want to bring their p**** asses on, get some motherf***ers. I hope you're right, but I don't have your confidence.

Sure, he'll listen. That doesn't mean Jerry will sign off on it, though.

It's to the point that it wouldn't totally shock me if Trump and Clinton both came out on stage somewhere and said "We're the Arristocrats".

QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 31, 2016 -> 07:40 PM) See? What a double standard. How many Americans love and listen to Limbaugh?? Tons. You can't just says millions of Americans are scum for loving Rush. Now your first sentence is interesting. Would I face suspension on here if I rattled off a similarly mean sentence about Hillary? Or Bill? What about mean unsubstantiated stuff about Obama? You issue no proof of his racism and sexist ways. Terrible human being? How the hell do you KNOW that. He may for all we know give more money to charity than some saint. At least I backed off when told to lay off Hillary. Now I only put criticism when I have the links. A. Why not? B. It's impossible for you to listen to him as much as you say and not know this.
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 31, 2016 -> 07:24 PM) He's a racist bigoted sexist hateful terrible human being and anyone who thinks he is anything other than that is very likely in many of those same categories with him. I know, and the same can be said about Rush.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 28, 2016 -> 08:18 PM) If Hillary Clinton were the villain that she is characterized as by certain posters and a substantial portion of the Republican base/representatives, Anthony Weiner would have had some sort of accident long ago. I know, right?

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Oct 21, 2016 -> 05:40 PM) Some of you may be getting interested in some of these "home" products, and as a person who works in the industry I'd implore you to hold off on these for now, no matter how cool you think they are. Most of these products are made by non IT companies that have no idea how to properly build security into their products. As an example, more than half of the current door locks on the market were found to be transmitting unlock codes in plain text over bluetooth. Which means anyone with a cell phone who can download a free BT sniffing app can read door lock passwords up to 100 meters away, depending on the transmit power of that specific lock. And it doesn't stop there, they are riddled with bugs and flaws that allow attackers to easily intercept communications to/from them. Others were a bit more secure than that, but still trivial to hack. Keep in mind this technology is in it's infancy, and although it's all super cool, it's not secure whatsoever. http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/news/20...ttack/92583398/
