  1. What do we need to (realistically, if possible) happen for no one to get enough electoral votes?
  2. With our luck, they'll agree to a great deal in principle. Then Chris Sale will break his hand punching a wall, thus killing the deal.
  3. QUOTE (illinilaw08 @ Jul 25, 2016 -> 07:30 PM) Sigh. People too young to remember Nader costing Gore the election in 2000... imagine a world where the US never invades Iraq... I wish I was, I remember Perot costing Bush votes. These folks are acting like petulant children.
  4. QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Jul 25, 2016 -> 06:57 PM) Haha, damn these Bernie fans are ROWDY While I don't want Trump, I will laugh at any pisspants Bernie supporter that complains about President Trump.
  5. My 2 cents: I don't think Boston is going to give up what most here think it will take to get Sale. That being said, if they don't, dig in your heels. Don't take a lesser offer when you don't have to.
  6. I wonder if they'll talk about it after the game resumes, everybody else is. (Sale incident)
  7. Did Trump really just say depleted military? Did it really get a huge applause break? Even if he's sincere in wanting to do all these things, there is no way it's going to happen. Republican or Democrat controlled House and / or Senate, doesn't matter.
  8. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jul 21, 2016 -> 09:43 PM) Nice Photoshop
  9. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Jul 19, 2016 -> 06:50 PM) Dodgers are interested in Longoria so why not Frazier ? /snip Um, 'cause Longoria doesn't suck.
  10. Smoke 'em if you got 'em. I got to run, Jerry and I got an early tee time.
  11. QUOTE (TitoMB @ Jul 19, 2016 -> 05:06 PM) 5 people on this site are f***ing delusional. Only five?
  12. QUOTE (Thad Bosley @ Jul 18, 2016 -> 02:53 PM) Under the (sweetheart lease) deal, the Sox didn't have to pay a fee for use of the stadium until 2008. In 2015, that fee amounted to about $1.6 million. The Sox also must pay a fee on each ticket sold in excess of 1.93 million in paid attendance. Since 2008, the Sox have paid that fee only in 2010, when games drew 2.2 million fans. However, the Sox were allowed to apply a credit based on the taxes the team paid that year, reducing the ticket fee payment from $455,974 to $95,531. "The White Sox didn't have that much of an incentive to really pack the place," Sanderson said. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-sox-...0521-story.html Thanks for the new avatar idea.
  13. Wow, Angels leading Red Sox 20-2 in the 7th inning.
  14. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Jun 28, 2016 -> 02:24 PM) But I do agree that the season seemed a bit flat, I think season 1's ending and all of S2 were just funnier and S3 was a bit of a let down. There wasn't enough Jian Yang.
  15. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 03:37 PM) Serious question: If on a hot Friday or Saturday night I decided to walk the streets of Rosemont from 10 pm until 5 am. what are the odds I would be shot and killed? Probably 90 percent? The murders in Chicago must stop. Why, are you well known there?
  16. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jun 21, 2016 -> 02:36 PM) Yeah it's legitimate expenses, it's just that of course he's going to structure it so he benefits. And anyone donating to his campaign has to know that some of that money is going to be going directly into his pocket, and that a big chunk is going to go towards paying off his personal loans to the campaign. Ok, I misunderstood what you wrote. I thought he was taking donations from people and using it for his personal (not campaign related) expenses.
  17. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jun 20, 2016 -> 11:41 PM) A few interesting things from Trump's FEC numbers today: His campaign only has a little over $1M in cash on hand. His campaign has been spending millions of dollars on his own companies/properties He appears to be drawing a small salary from the campaign Isn't that fraud?
  18. So..., If Cleveland wins a championship (check), Cubs win the World Series, and Donald Trump wins the presidency, what will be the fourth horseman of the apocalypse?
  19. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Jun 18, 2016 -> 06:42 PM) If Hahn goes, I want KW to go with him. Hahn, KW, RV, Cooper, and JR for that matter, can all go.
  20. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jun 18, 2016 -> 06:28 PM) Brian Bilek ‏@BrianBilek_ 1m1 minute ago If you come in my mentions complaining about Ventura lose my number if you have it. He'll be gone Monday. ??? Is that English?
  21. BREAKING NEWS Unprecedented multiple car pile-up in Chicago from people rushing to drive Derrick Rose to the airport.
  22. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 17, 2016 -> 02:23 AM) John McCain's trying to get on the short list by "sort of" blaming Obama for Orlando. He has nothing to lose at his age except for remaining shreds of dignity and respect. Didn't Sarah Palin get those as a consolation prize?
  23. QUOTE (CB2.0 @ Jun 17, 2016 -> 01:09 AM) Your first paragraph doesn't surprise - it supports my conclusion (self loathing gay). None of those organizations have tolerance for homosexuality. NONE OF THEM. NOT A SINGLE ONE. You couldn't find a more COMMON AND CLEAR SENSE of idealogy. Get real. I think what a lot of people are getting wrong is that they are looking for that ONE thing. It's a combination of things. Just like a literal explosive, you have the ingredients, put them together and BOOM.
  24. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 16, 2016 -> 09:19 AM) all you can hope for is someone thinks "I can fix that" Well, maybe this guy.
