  1. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jun 19, 2015 -> 09:49 PM) 3 straight singles. Up to Melky *sigh*
  2. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 19, 2015 -> 09:43 PM) What about 10+ for six? Who has done that? Sanchez up to .147. Ouch, wow.
  3. Well they won't be having many of those Papa John's deals. On the plus side, you won't have to subject yourself to that Sh***y pizza.
  4. Well, that ends that. Still has a chance for the 12+ Ks
  5. Pitch count creeping up. At what point would they pull him if was still dealing?
  6. Those aren't mullets. Mullets = short in front / long in back, just sayin'.
  7. Did he just cost himself $1000? Let's hope so.
  8. I gotta laugh at all those complaining about Robin not challenging. You all would be b****ing that he wasted the challenge when it didn't get overturned, which it wouldn't have.
  9. Speaking of a perfect game (Stone), imagine if he pitched 9 perfect innings but didn't get it, because the offense can't score 1 F'ing run.
  10. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 19, 2015 -> 11:18 AM) http://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/2015/06/...KhLJ/story.html Who gets the axe first, Ventura or Farrell? Eaton's coming close, but nothing like Sandoval...interestingly, the Boston problem is perceived to be the veterans, and it feels like it could equally apply to Cabrera, Samardzija or Bonifacio right nowin the Sox clubhouse. Everyone's kind of just going through the motions...but the season is just too long to go on like that without some blowups/frustration coming out. You can read it coming from Hahn and Ventura in the last 2-3 days as well. Farrell, no doubt. I'd put it at 10-1.
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 18, 2015 -> 09:33 PM) Samardzija's defense cost him both runs tonight. That would be a new way for the Sox to lose. The bingo card has got to be filled by now.
  12. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 18, 2015 -> 04:06 PM) Pablo Sandoval had enough time during yesterday's game (when he wasn't going 2 for 4 with two singles) to send out some photo on Instagram. Benched today...had to apologize to the team. Quickly becoming a difficult player to like, if he wasn't already. Another repeat of the Chicken and Beer/Terry Francona fiasco, didn't see that coming. Actually, he "liked" some photos of a women with big boobs while in the bathroom. I'll let the obvious inference speak for itself.
  13. I put it on the owner for the simple reason that no one in the front office or on the field is operating with the possibility that their job is in jeopardy. There is an "aw shucks, let's go get some ice cream" attitude permeating through the organization.
  14. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 17, 2015 -> 09:14 PM) The funny thing is I'm pretty sure that Cabrera was oblivious to Eaton stealing...he was mostly just upset with striking out and forgot the situation in his "self-involvedness." Locke has given up a 1.44 WHIP this year, 104 baserunners in 74 innings. I'm sure Melky is oblivious to a lot of things.
  15. So they get a hit after Robin is ejected. coincidence?
  16. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jun 17, 2015 -> 09:08 PM) Micah sucked defensively in an incredibly small sample. He was made the scapegoat for our teamwide defensive issues. He deserved a longer opportunity with us. Unfortunately, we've now given 100 PAs to a guy with a motherf***ing 3 wRC+ b/c we over-reacted to a handful of bad plays from Micah. It was stupid then, looks even more ridiculous now. I don't disagree as far as giving Micah an opportunity. It's just way down the list of things wrong with this team / org.
  17. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jun 17, 2015 -> 08:58 PM) For the love of God, demote Sanchez and get Micah up here ASAP. Something about deck chairs and the Titanic
  18. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Jun 17, 2015 -> 08:42 PM) I can't believe some of you guys are following this team day to day still. Kudos to you it's more than I can stomache. With every passing game you just have to wonder how long this coaching staff can hold on. I've very rarely seen such a dead team walking. I played on a few in college and let me tell you it's absolute misery coming to the park. Every guy on this team right isn't having any fun and that is not a recipe for success. At least fire RV and give them someone new to interact with. I say it every f***ing post but seriously they have nothing to lose, it can't get worse. It's not every day that you have a chance to see a perfect game.
  19. I also heard that when he gets thirsty, he drinks something.
  20. Could there be a more appropriate name for a pitcher facing the Sox than Locke?
