QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 14, 2011 -> 10:39 AM) He was f***ing fantastic in 'Lethal Weapon 5". Even sharks need water. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 14, 2011 -> 11:27 AM) I fixed it for him, just didnt say anything about it Why thank you.

Ballantini was probably the best guy covering the Sox, but he got canned for whatever reason.
-
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 14, 2011 -> 09:30 AM) ...but they had rockets on their backs. +1 And their leader is the scariest thing I've ever seen, even without makeup.
-
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 14, 2011 -> 08:56 AM) I like this one. As soon as I saw that you had the most recent post, I thought you'd be agreeing with mine.

QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Dec 14, 2011 -> 08:01 AM) Can anyone explain why they would rank Mike Myers much higher than Jason Voorhees? Is it just liking Halloween 1 better than any Friday the 13th? They seem like basically the same character. There are about 25 total movies between the two of them. The only good one was the original Halloween, so that's probably why he's higher.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 14, 2011 -> 07:43 AM) Isn't "The Dark Knight Rises" the official title? Yes, and for some reason I wrote "The Dark Knight Returns", so I asked that it be fixed.

Some early projection of Sox line-up/stats
Milkman delivers replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Dec 14, 2011 -> 12:30 AM) There's certainly a logical argument for DeAza/Rios/Viciedo/Soriano/Konerko, especially from a selling tickets/marketing standpoint. But I'd still prefer Viciedo at 1B, DeAza in LF, Quentin in RF and Soriano as DH to what we're actually going to do. That would mean trading Konerko, but what are the odds we're going to be competitive the next 2 seasons? It's just a guess, but I think Quentin's OPS the next two seasons will probably equal Konerko's and at 1/2 the price. Of course, you never know if the guy can stay healthy, he only played 119 games last year. Quite the contrary. You can be sure that he WON'T be healthy. -
Let me make this easy. f*** Cowley. f*** Danks. f*** Danks' talentless brother. f*** Peavy.

I wrote "Returns" in the title? Can someone fix that.
-
QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 04:35 PM) I'm convinced Cardinals don't think Pujols will be able to stay healthy and/or not deteriorate mightily 6-10 years from now. I think it was definitely in their best interest to let him go. Body breaking down from some illegal substances?

Official Squared Circle Thread
Milkman delivers replied to Rowand44's topic in A and J's Olde Tyme Sports Pub
Wasn't there a poster on here that looked down on any wrestling news that wasn't from a pay site? And wasn't it mentioned very recently that Jericho said he'd never wrestle for WWE again? Or was that someone else? -
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 03:43 PM) They better give Frank his 2000 MVP if they decide to strip Braun. I know it's similar, but it's also extremely different. Braun got caught like a week after being given the award. It seems pretty stupid that he'd be allowed to keep it.
-
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 12:05 PM) My first Ad Campaign: Haha.
-
Wait, Braun will definitely keep the MVP?
-
QUOTE (The Gooch @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 12:20 PM) I wonder how they will tie in Capone and Van Alden together Nelson Van Alden = Al Neri That is my theory until proven otherwise.
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 10:00 AM) Let's not forget that the "Bat Cave" as shown in Batman Begins was likely to be at least partially reconstructed in the process of strengthening the foundation of Wayne Manor during its reconstruction. True. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 10:01 AM) Plus, he's had 10 years to perfect it. True. QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 10:05 AM) I think those are just lights. There are lights in the hoover dam... Also true.
-
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 09:46 AM) With a waterfall in it? I thought perhaps a busted water pipe, or maybe a sewer. I thought it looked a little too clean/finished to be the bat cave. I think of it as having the walls of an actual cave, in my mind.
-
QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 09:47 AM) Yep, I feel like I saw a spoiler for the finale without having the option to avoid seeing it. It sounds like an intentional diversion to me.
-
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 09:44 AM) I just liked his calm, deliberateness with business. I wonder what happens with Jimmy's mom? She was f***ing Lucky, I wonder if they keep her around in that role, maybe she tries to stay in the business despite what happened. I think I have an inherent hate for him based on the Black Sox scandal. Normally, I'm sure I'd like a character like him. And I believe Terence Winter said that Jimmy's mom (and all of the Jimmy-centric characters) will remain parts of the show.

Official Squared Circle Thread
Milkman delivers replied to Rowand44's topic in A and J's Olde Tyme Sports Pub
I've always been a fan of Kane, the character and the wrestler. The guy has been around consistently forever, only getting the occasional push. I always like to see guys like him and Henry getting rewarded for their work. -
Penn State horror story
Milkman delivers replied to farmteam's topic in A and J's Olde Tyme Sports Pub
This has become the Penn State bore-er story of late, amirite? I want something like Sandusky trying to off himself or the former DA reappearing deus ex machina at the next hearing, or something... -
Sure, it's over half a year away, but what the hell.
-
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 09:31 AM) I'll blow that s*** up. Batman stuff turns me into a 12 year old. Don't tell Sandusky. *rimshot* I just noticed that there was an influx of Batman news this week, so perhaps it's time to start that other thread. It doesn't matter to me, as I'll read spoilers anyway.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 09:32 AM) I'm a fan of Arnold Rothstein's character, hope they keep him in the mix a lot as well. He's obviously a real-life character too. I really dislike him, so I obviously can't wait for his true-to-life ending.
