There’s a very recent example in Bud Light to refute that. Not starting a political argument or making a statement on the reason for the boycott, but it definitely made a difference for that company.

I’ll have to give this a watch at some point. Tobias Menzies (Stanton) is a solid actor, but most people wouldn’t know his name. He’s good in everything I’ve ever seen him in. If you haven’t seen it, I’d suggest the first season of The Terror. It’s an anthology type of show, so the season is a standalone. Really cool premise.

Also, who even gives a f*** what Cubs fans say or think? I cared about that when I was in high school. That s%*# matters not an ounce to me.

There’s a huge difference between 1B/DH material and 1B/DH caliber. The Sox have a ton of the former and none of the latter. Abreu would not change that outcome.

Actually, looks like the Sox are in last place with 139 total hits for the year, a solid 10 behind the Twins in 29th place. Arizona leads with 227.
