Keynan Middleton rips White Sox 'no rules' culture
Milkman delivers replied to maxjusttyped's topic in Pale Hose Talk
But add to the occasional games postponed or forfeited due beheadings and kidnappings. -
Oh yeah, it would come in super handy. And also when fighting Lynels, Frox, Gleeoks, etc. I don’t think I have any side quests to complete. I’d have to compare what I’ve done to a walkthrough, but I’ve been around the map so many times that I can’t imagine there’s any more to do.
-
A few months later and I’ve completed a little over 90% of the game. Pretty much just trying to max out all the armor sets. It’s freaking impossible to get the number of fire and electric lizalfos tails needed haha. Those are pretty much the only things preventing me from maxing out. I keep trying though. And I know the payoff to getting all the korok seeds is a joke, but it would still be nice to do it. It’s the one thing I didn’t accomplish in BOTW. I’ve been everywhere on the map, and I’m still just short of 800 seeds of a total of 1,000. You basically have to use online guides or wear the korok mask while retracing the entire map a second time to find them all. It’s never happening.

No Official plans to announce for SoxFest
Milkman delivers replied to Vote4Pedro's topic in Pale Hose Talk
There are two things we know for sure. 1.) They will not have Soxfest. 2.) There will be no front office changes. -
I’m sure he’s trying to save his job. 100 losses seems like a guaranteed firing. Probably not for the Sox, but any other organization.
-
There really aren’t many options, and they need to pump up somebody in a desperate attempt to keep fans interested. And I don’t like to point to race in most cases, but this is also a race-based move. Basically every white guy I know that cares about the Sox at all (a shallow pool to be sure) has a giant hard-on for Vaughn. I believe it’s the perception that he’s a humble, quiet, and hardworking player. Those things may even be true, but he’s not a very good player.

And there’s only one way he’s no longer owner. And it ain’t selling.

Ramirez says, "Anderson disrespects the game..."
Milkman delivers replied to Lip Man 1's topic in Pale Hose Talk
ACAB is good enough for me. f*** that prick. I’ve disliked him for some time, even when he was good. Now that he’s bad, there’s even more reason. -
Possibly. But I also don’t want to see them do well either. There was a time I’d absolutely pull for them, but now they seem like a bunch of cocky assholes.
-
Yeah, that’s why I said “almost” haha. Those are just the teams I’d root for that could conceivably make the playoffs and make something happen. Anyone else in the playoff picture I don’t like and wouldn’t root for. The Brewers aren’t going anywhere (nobody from either Central division is worth a crap). The Padres and Rockies are clearly not making the playoffs.
-
Probably the Rangers, Rays, and/or Mariners . And maybe the Orioles. Mostly teams that haven’t won it before. Nothing from this team.
-
It’s likely both. They’re clearly incompetent. That needs no further proof. Better candidates probably weren’t willing to take the job because they saw what we all now see, that the team is going nowhere fast and the front office is not good at their jobs. A guy who has been demoted from the bench coach position since 2014? Two announcers who have never coached (one of which is in his 70s)? They seem equally likely to get the job. All very White Sox/bad moves.
-
So the main cause of their downfall appears to be winning?

8/3 Sox @ Rangers, 1PM, NBCSN
Milkman delivers replied to Buehrle>Wood's topic in 2023 Season in Review
Guys, slow down on the posting. I’m trying to catch up on this thread. -
Shirley you can’t be serious.
-
That could potentially cost our cheap owner money. Doesn’t most of the revenue come from concessions and parking? He’d be ordering Grifol to bench Burger before too long.
-
Agreed. He was a rare bright spot in a terrible season, so I think that’s where it comes from. And to add to the errors debate, Carlos Lee had zero errors in the entire 2004 season. Not a man known for playing any kind of defense.

LOL no.
