  1. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 18, 2012 -> 12:22 PM) Right, that was hilarious. The panic that set in on her face when she figured it out was awesome. The best part about it was that we, as viewers, didn't really know for certain either. The story originally called for a scene where Christopher goes to Tony and tells him. Steve Van Zandt and Drea De Matteo (Silvio and Adriana) thought it would be better to cut that scene. They later used the cut scene in the final season.
  2. Bobby Bacala and Adrianna.
  3. QUOTE (Stan Bahnsen @ Jul 17, 2012 -> 04:44 PM) No sure exactly if you're agreeing or disagreeing. Please nominate another, if the latter. The other most unforgettable death scene for me was the killing of Lem by Shane Vendrell at the end of season 5 of the Shield. But that one was so gut-wrenching, whereas GF's was a "F*** Yeah!" reaction. Agreeing.
  4. QUOTE (Stan Bahnsen @ Jul 17, 2012 -> 02:00 PM) The Fring killing is the best death scene in the history of television. BTW, and apologies if it's been discussed, but where have I seen the sleazy guy who played the junkyard boss before? Love that dude! Tons of s*** besides the stuff already mentioned. And definitely in regards to the bold.
  5. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 17, 2012 -> 10:07 AM) Someone is flying a plane over State College with a banner that says: "TAKE THE STATUE DOWN OR WE WILL" Awesome.
  6. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jul 16, 2012 -> 05:45 AM) Like a talking raccoon, a big green guy, and a Norse god? Also, my guess is it will have Wasp, the SHIELD agents, and bring Coulson back as Vision. Talking raccoon? QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 16, 2012 -> 12:53 PM) Edgar Wright showed some Ant man test footage at Comicon that was apparently recieved very well If he's directing it, it'll be good.
  7. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 16, 2012 -> 10:04 AM) He's not, but he's always been a nervous wreck about things and never seemed comfortable having to perform X job to get him out of trouble. That was the case even last year in the finale The sudden flip seems just that - sudden. The entire show is about his conversion. You're never satisfied.
  8. I f***ing hate college basketball. This thread got derailed like no other.
  9. QUOTE (Joxer_Daly @ Jul 14, 2012 -> 04:14 AM) Brilliant! Was there much drink left in the establishment afterwards?? QUOTE (Indy_Soxer @ Jul 14, 2012 -> 08:48 AM) And when you are used to it, going out to normal bars on a normal friday, SUCKS!!! Spent about 5x what I would have if i attended my normal establishment. Alright, these two names are far too similar to be posting after one another.
  10. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 11, 2012 -> 02:09 PM) I'll take a vote. Do you all really want me to go thru that long, well thought out post point by point and re-but? I will if you want that. I dont think people want me to do that. I love hawk, but he is going to make the current guy look good, which is fine. I like Ventura as well. Ugh. This argument confounds me. My god. they bring in a closer for a gadzillion dollars; you have to pitch the guy in the closer's rule. It's the closer trashing their season, not ozzie. Now I guess it's to the point he's going to have to do something; Oz has indicated that, but he STILL doesn't want to replace Bell. My guess is Bell will start the second half as the closer, as he should. See what happens. Or closer by committee, but you got to go with the high paid acquisition; why can't u guys see that?? It's called a TEAM; gm acquires players; you play them. Now the closer can be kept out of a game or two, but until the GM disposes of him, he's the high paid guy who plays. This is sports; this is life. Why can't we see that? Because we're not buffoons.
  11. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jul 11, 2012 -> 06:12 AM) Translation: You have defeated me, but I'm going to ignore it.
  12. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 11, 2012 -> 07:38 AM) Welcome to the site. Your not the only poster here who is posting from out of the U.S. btw. Good to see another fan from another country here. I think we've got Australia, Canada, Sweden, and now Ireland. I'm pretty sure there's also Spain and England.
  13. Cool, I think you'll enjoy it.
  14. Can I ask what drew you to this team in particular?
  15. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Jul 8, 2012 -> 06:58 PM) That was an easy ejection. Show up an umpire by SPIKING a baseball? LOL if you think that's on an ump. Agreed.
  16. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 02:30 PM) You guys don't even have an open mind on the matter. Holy f***ing f***. For you of all people to say that in a discussion about Ozzie Guillen is absolutely priceless. That is fascinating.
  17. QUOTE (Reddy @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 10:25 AM) hahaha love Kenny unconditionally? go back and read my posts about him when he wanted Sale in the bullpen. I wanted Kenny fired for that. but just to be clear, you want Kenny to fleece the other GM in every single trade, or else he's a bad GM. is that your stance on this issue? All Ozzie needs to do is let his coaches do the work while he plays cards to be one of the greatest managers of all time. KW has to win every trade flat-out to be considered a good GM. Makes sense.
  18. QUOTE (ScottyDo @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 08:03 AM) Carl Everett. I wanted to be a paleontologist until I was like 15 and I'm interested to hear his thoughts Haha.
  19. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 08:01 AM) Ozzie might be in the top five for Sox SS's. Maybe. Remember we have two Hall of Fame SS's. Plus Jose Valentin. So, 3 Hall of Fame SS's.
