  1. It was awesome, and pretty damn funny. . It did NOT seem like almost 2 1/2 hours though. I didn't see the second extra scene. What did I miss?
  2. Battleship has been out for a month? I didn't even know it was out at all.
  3. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 27, 2012 -> 12:23 PM) I enjoyed Alda's character in Flirting With Disaster. Murder At 1600?
  4. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 27, 2012 -> 03:36 PM) The "Screwball" documentary about RA Dickey and Wakefield's been getting good reviews so far. While trying to find THAT movie online, came across another "SCREWBALL: THE TED WHITFIELD STORY" about the greatest wiffle ball player. Now that one, I HAVE to watch. Childhood memories. If we used tennis or even racquet balls in the neighborhood playing baseball growing up instead of wiffleballs, we would have broken about 100 windows. Seriously, this doesn't even have anything to do with the Sox.
  5. Johnny Depp has played basically the same character for a decade or more now. I'm getting tired of all of the praise he gets.
  6. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Apr 22, 2012 -> 12:46 PM) The Humberglar. I give you more s*** for your nicknames than anybody, but that one is actually funny.
  7. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Apr 22, 2012 -> 02:50 PM) That looks familiar, but I'm half asleep. Who is it?
  8. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 22, 2012 -> 11:41 AM) Oakland series-- Peavy vs Colon Floyd vs Milone (lefty) Sale vs TBD I'm glad Tyson Ross is starting today. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 22, 2012 -> 11:47 AM) Colon was great last time out, and Villone pitched really well, but the Oakland offense is like Seattle's with the exception of Cespedes in the middle who's a threat to hit it out every at-bat. I really hope there's a possibility of 3 starters with rhyming names, and this isn't just a typo.
  9. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 22, 2012 -> 03:10 AM) "One Former Royal I'm Glad is a Sox" Haha, I like it.
  10. I'm wondering if this is the most players involved in a second perfect game.
  11. Have there ever been perfect games so close to each other on the same team?
  12. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 21, 2012 -> 06:38 PM) Ground ball to Iguchi, over to PK. ALCS--Kotchman, grounder to PK WS- grounder over Jenks...well, you know.... I thought so, but it wasn't mentioned as Konerko having gotten the last out so I couldn't think straight.
  13. QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 21, 2012 -> 05:30 PM) For Phillip Humber! Fantastic.
  14. Can a pitching coach get into the Hall of Fame solely on that job?
  15. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 21, 2012 -> 05:37 PM) J4L should write an apology letter to Phil Humber. Oh yes. QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Apr 21, 2012 -> 05:39 PM) That was awesome. I was scared to post in the game thread. Ryan's a b**** for trying to draw a walk in that situation. Swing the bat, dickhead. That's the reason I don't feel bad that they called him out.
  16. I'll say it, though. It's awesome that there's only been 21 of those in the history of baseball, and we've seen two of them in the last few years for our team.
  17. Still shaking. I don't think there's a person on Earth that could root against Phil Humber.
  18. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
