  1. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 6, 2005 -> 08:29 PM) Pods is the guy I want up in this situation. I retract my statement.
  2. Pods is the guy I want up in this situation.
  3. QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 6, 2005 -> 08:27 PM) Two pick-off attempts already. Is Crede leading off a lot?
  4. Crede walks. Let's just hope that Ozzie doesn't send him here.
  5. Jason Frasor in relief. He looks like a 12-year-old on gameday.
  6. Gets through 6 innings with 101 pitches. He kept us in it.
  7. QUOTE(quickman @ May 6, 2005 -> 08:10 PM) i think he is 0-27 which means about a week. Wow, he is absolutely the streakiest hitter in baseball. I mean, he does this more than once a year! That's just awful. And on another note, I believe Timo is the odd man out when Thomas comes back. He's really not helping himself.
  8. QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 6, 2005 -> 08:08 PM) Bush only threw 79 pitches. I'm thinking that they didn't like how our batters were nailing everything he threw. When was the last time Konerko had a hit? Honestly, I can't remember it.
  9. What's this on-field delay they're talking about on gameday?
  10. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ May 6, 2005 -> 07:45 PM) Now pods needs to take this bag. I guess we can almost always depend on that. That's number 12.
  11. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 6, 2005 -> 07:39 PM) Uribe falls out of the box. f***ing get that thing fixed. This is bulls*** now... What exactly is wrong with it?
  12. Out of the inning. 70 pitches through 4 innings. It seems like Duque is getting behind every hitter 1-0, 2-0, or something. Everything that gets in the strike zone is either a hit or hit at someone.
  13. Another walk on 4 pitches. 1 out, men on 1st and 2nd.
  14. Leadoff runner gets on and we do absolutely nothing. :banghead :banghead
  15. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 6, 2005 -> 07:24 PM) OH MY That man is gonna win himself some GG's It's a shame really. Dye almost had his average over .200.
  16. QUOTE(daa84 @ May 6, 2005 -> 07:19 PM) who wants to start takin wagers on when konerko will finally get a hit? We might have a better chance of winning the lottery.
  17. Konerko is HBP. It's not a hit, but I'll take anything at this point.
  18. Hillenbrand K's. Inning over. That's 56 pitches through 3 innings. I hope Duque gets it together soon because I really don't wanna see Cotts today. Could someone that's actually watching the game let me know how Duque's doing? From gameday, it seems pretty bad.
  19. Wells steals on a ball to Hillenbrand.
  20. 1 out, 4 straight balls to Wells. 1-0 to Koskie.
  21. Well, inning over but at least it seems like the offense is alive today. Let's see if they can make up for the mistakes they've made so far.
  22. QUOTE(JimH @ May 6, 2005 -> 07:05 PM) Sure. Uribe did a nice piece of situational hitting and poked a grounder into the hole between 1st and 2nd. He immediately thought it would go into RF and took a very wide path toward 1B ... thinking he had a base hit for sure. Then, Hudson dove and got it and Uribe tried to straighten out his path to 1B. Hudson threw him out even though Uribe tried to slide into 1st. Ugly. Thanks. Man, the game threads here really are much more in-depth compared to the Sox site.
  23. Thanks. I don't think I've ever seen someone slide feet first into first.
