QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Dec 30, 2011 -> 10:20 PM) Well then they must have tapped in to a demographic that they didn't intend to, because it's a hit among college people I know. Also, it's rated PG-13. Not sure how "little kids" constitute teenagers, unless you are an old crotchety adult, which could be the case. PG-13 means that kids have to be accompanied by an adult, so I'm betting a ton if their demographic was around 8-14 and their parents.

I can only sort of answer a couple of those. Replacing felt isn't cheap, and do not let an amateur do it.

QUOTE (MAX @ Dec 30, 2011 -> 10:52 PM) Did you throw something when you read that? Hahaha.

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Dec 30, 2011 -> 06:47 PM) Still doesn't change my statement. Maybe the movie was geared more towards college kids (I'm sure it was), but like I said, only 1 person I know didn't think it was hilarious. You can not like certain movies, that's not going to bother me. My roommate thinks Dinner for Schmucks was a hilarious movie and I, on the other hand, couldn't even finish it, it was so bad. It's whatever though, comedies are usually hit or miss. College kids? Grown Ups is geared towards little kids and their parents.

QUOTE (shakes @ Dec 30, 2011 -> 04:30 PM) Honestly, his past os pretty well documented. High school stuff happens, but it continued. The Mets, Nats, and Pirates had problems with him. Anyway, he is off to Japan. http://tracking.si.com/2011/12/28/lastings...central-league/ Wow, just realized how old those posts were that I was replying to. Sorry. Haha, for a second I didn't even know what I was asking myself.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 30, 2011 -> 11:23 AM) They really dont, Cheetah was a bigtime exception. From what I read, normal Chimps lifespan is 25-35 years in the wild, and 35-45 years in captivity. Cheetah blew past all of that That's crazy, then. It'd be like a person living to be 150 or more.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 30, 2011 -> 10:55 AM) Problem number 1. Seeing Godfather III. It's not bad. It just seems bad in comparison to the first two. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Dec 30, 2011 -> 11:23 AM) I don't think so. And yeah, that's annoying how they don't allow you to "see" all the titles they have. The hilarious movie "grown ups" was hidden for a while, only to be found in "search". They also suck at listing NEW ARRIVALS. Half the time they are movies from 20+ years ago, or they don't include the newest and best arrivals they have (like when they added Breaking Bad) That's by far the highest praise I've seen heaped onto Grown Ups. The best I heard before (and I agree with) was "OK".

QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Dec 30, 2011 -> 10:08 AM) I believe that's an Eminem song.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 30, 2011 -> 08:06 AM) The Decoded the other night on Pope John Paul I was interesting. I had never heard about theories of his being killed, nor about the Vatican bank money laundering for freedom fighters against communism and socialism. Really? I've heard lots of them. It's even a story line in The Godfather Part III.

QUOTE (Tuna @ Dec 29, 2011 -> 08:57 AM) I've officially crossed the line of white trasch and got a SAMCRO hoodie (amongst other things) for Christmas... Haha.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Dec 28, 2011 -> 10:16 PM) Ozzie's position on things change day to day. He's a motormouth who says whatever he wants. Some of you IMO think he has some patterned agenda. He's just a talkaholic. I find that refreshing. Sox fan = Ozzie Cubs = greg "Gee, that's refreshing." -greg

Holy s***. I had no idea chimpanzees lived so long.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Nov 3, 2011 -> 10:03 AM) News from the future: Minnie Miñoso receives nowhere near the necessary votes to achieve Hall Of Fame status. QUOTE (buckweaver @ Nov 3, 2011 -> 10:14 AM) The proliferation of this type of attitude in posts across this board shut down discussion and keep White Sox fans like me from bothering to post often or read too deeply into this site. To be sure, sheer interest and numbers keep Soxtalk the place to check out for up-to-the-minute new about our favorite team. But the constant negativity, finger pointing and fault finding is a buzzkill. BTW, a**h0le, there's no tilde in Minoso's name.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 28, 2011 -> 11:04 AM) So you are the 1% who didn't already know the story? Read the books, at least 'Played with Fire' and 'Kicked the Hornet's Nest'. They good. Haven't read any of them, and probably won't.

QUOTE (Rex Kicka** @ Dec 28, 2011 -> 12:20 AM) We're making a list of Soxtalk's favorite music of the year. PM me your list of your favorite albums of the year At least 5 please, but shoot for 10. (We'll define 2011 as anything released December 15, 2010 - December 15, 2011) We'll list the 20 best albums after voting closes on Jan 5. Thanks! I'll have to sit this one out, as I'm pretty sure my thoughts on new music are well known.

QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Dec 27, 2011 -> 10:31 PM) I liked it, but Fincher should have bit the bullet and decided to change a few things.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Dec 27, 2011 -> 09:11 AM) Pretty sweet that you still collect vinyl. I would love to get in to this at some point. What kind of turntable would you recommend? One likely wouldn't be enough. You'll probably need two, and at least one microphone.

QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Dec 27, 2011 -> 09:13 AM) I sort of hate to admit this, but I am curious as to how the trainwreck that is Lindsey Lohan looks in her Playboy layout. Anyone seen it? Google?

Had a pretty cool dream last night where I went all Batman vigilante after my car was stolen. I even did that thing where he pushed Eric Roberts off the ledge and broke his legs.

Whenever, and ideally downtown or south side/south suburbs. Who besides Sqwert moved away?

QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 26, 2011 -> 07:39 PM) Can I introduce you to a little art noir film called "Human Centipede", then? The word "art" should not be allowed in that sentence
