  1. whoops that wasn't Phillips, it was Sutcliff.
  2. QUOTE (ChesterCopperpot @ Apr 6, 2009 -> 08:07 PM) He was probably talking about Cotts. nope, said him and Cotts were teammates
  3. did Steve Phillips just say that Jason Michaels used to play for the sox? either he's an idiot or I missed a year.
  4. I've always felt that Gload got screwed in '05. I also thought that he would have looked great on the '07 team leading off and playing LF. You know, instead of gonzalez.
  5. I thought that CF was the easiest position to play in the OF.
  6. I think I would feel better with him than Wise. Never thought I'd be wishing this guy back though.
  7. Lefty is awesome. Almost burst a gut when AJ signed that ball. Plus, how many fans of other teams can name the groundskeeper?
  8. well if we are gonna include closers to the list add Hoffman, Rivera, Wagner, and Percival
  9. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Mar 30, 2009 -> 07:36 AM) Please name all of these pitchers off the top of your head. Maddux, Johnson, Glavine, Smoltz, Martinez, Mussina, Wells, hell, even David Cone had a career just about as good as Schilling
  10. Off the top of my head, there are too many other pitchers from this era that were better than him so I gotta say no. Maybe down the road.
  11. Mark Grace deserves it before Maddux. Grace had the more hits in the 90s than anybody. He had a much better career as a cub
  12. There is a reason why I have been calling him Paulie The Rally Killer the last 3 years
  13. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Feb 16, 2009 -> 03:46 PM) the best part about this one is Count out there throwing
  14. ^^^ agree, plus I think most fans, including Selig, didn't want any of this to be true. When McGuire was hitting 50 HRs a year you didn't want to think that it was PEDs, you wanted to think that he was finally healthy again. The magic was back in the game. To find out that so many guys were cheats was devastating when you could no longer ignore it. If this did break in the 90s the game would still not have recovered. I'm starting to think Selig is wiser than we think.
  15. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jan 29, 2009 -> 12:50 PM) Bonds is still the man regardless of what happens. If he really was the man he wouldn't of had to cheat. As soon as on cheats they can no longer be the man; they are just a cheat.
