  1. The only thing we would need to get rid of is the base running coach, if there was one, or just send our players back to little league.
  2. haha I love the first post, "serious question here folks" - Funny guy
  3. miguel olivo and willie harris. You guys rock.
  4. QUOTE (sayitaintso @ Apr 22, 2009 -> 11:34 PM) If Carlos was in there too it would be better than that. Hard Hittin Carlos Quentin isn't bad. you are good
  5. QUOTE (CryptviLL @ Apr 22, 2009 -> 08:12 PM) Yup, no doubt, the all star team should consists of Hill, Scutaro, Bartlet, Emillio Bonnifacio the way things are this early I think..no
  6. I don't get it. It doesn't even rhyme nor is it catchy.
  7. as a Fan, I'd say burls and the marshmellow man, as a GM, TCQ all the way. closers are a dime a dozen (my opinion), and burls is not an ace.
  8. We need a miracle, or the bats to wake up (against someone who doesn't through cock high fastballs all day), could be the same thing
  9. Lets have someone grow a pair with RISP, and lets have colon stay hot. My pick to click is Brian Anderson (if he plays, Konerko if not), Me hating his guts has not worked for him, so now I'll try rooting for him.
  10. any Bullpen Catcher, With David Wells/Rod Beck Qualities, Throwin in chaws as big as juan uribe's, combined with artie lang from beer league. I drop Bombs in Batting Practice.
  11. Getz has got me worried if hes gonna lead off, hes really got to work on his pitch selection. I think once that kid starts swingin at strikes more he's going to be great. And big ups to josh fields with the hitting and the speed, keep it up.
  12. I like that lineup, Anderson's gotta do some damage tonight so we don't end up paying rowand 14 mil to support the team's energy level.
  13. this is rediculous, and we don't need a centerfielder, we need a lead off hitter
  14. QUOTE (Soxpranos @ Apr 15, 2009 -> 07:46 PM) Yeah, for Carlos Gomez nice
  15. God Damn these 12 oclock starts and my 12 oclock macroeconomics class. GO SOX! and since when has brian anderson been considered a grinder?
  16. QUOTE (bighurt4life @ Apr 14, 2009 -> 06:37 AM) see what i wrote above about Jose Canseco's escapade onto the pitcher's mound. Position players aren't pitchers and don't have their arms/shoulders/elbows on the same strengthening program as full time pitchers do. if they get a dumb idea and try throwing some offspeed junk the probability of an injury is much greater Maybe there a few exceptions, but I don't care what their strengthening program involves, if a major league athlete wants to go throw twenty pitches (no matter what they are) there is a very high probability that his arm will be fine.
  17. I'm to young to know too much about this guy, but I watched him pitch against the yankees on espn classic, the guy had great stuff.
  18. I can't believe no one has been at all irritated by stoney. I like him as an announcer but sometimes his analysis of certain situations are so obvious, that I'd like it to go unsaid, instead of listening to his slow, boring tone. That being said, I enjoy the combo of hawk and stoney. I love that combo.
  19. We gotta find out what this guy looks like and never let him into another White Sox bar, or a game, to exile him from all white sox activities.
  20. Its never wrong to plunk someone if the team feels it is necessary, but yeah i would like to see some baseballs put into play off the white sox' bats today.
