  1. The only page I like on Facebook is Cheryl Scott, I think she's the only thing I really miss about Chicago. The weekend weather lady who's been there like 18 months.
  2. The first time he gives up 6 runs in .2 IP everyone on Soxtalk will be calling him some variation of a retard. Remember Palsy?
  3. That Bashir thing wouldve been better if he didn't go through the whole "time to start feeling guilty again, whitey! Don't forget to pay your taxes" and just said someone should s*** in Palin's mouth. Because someone should s*** in Sarah Palin's mouth, and that is a fantastic idea.
  4. Everyone losing is not a bad thing for the Bears.
  5. I've got more "broken windshield" tickets than everyone on this board combined. I change my driving habits from sub-2000 lb sports car to 80,000 lb monstrosity. I don't whip my International (no more Peterbilt, RIP buddy) around the same way I do my Miata.
  6. So we should all just define ourselves by our job. If your employer wouldn't like something you do in your personal life you just shouldn't do it? Fffffuuuuuuccckkkkkkkkkk that.
  7. Her girlfriends are talking s*** about you. Do you know her friends at all? If not, they don't like you. If you have, and found out they are single, they don't like you. If I were you I'd hold the course and then try to stick in the pooper when the time is right. If she let's you, cool. If not, problems are on the horizon.
  8. Wyoming is an ice rink, I'm in sunny LA now god bless.
  9. It was kind of funny. I don't know why people care. Is this the new qualification for self fulfilment? "I got a person fired over a tweet! #activism". If you want evidence as to why I frankly don't give a f*** about other people this is it. Our vapid internet culture attempts the lamest quests for righteous justice that wind up just being vain exclamations of how not racist they are. Give me the offensive, insensitive dickhead who says whatever he wants--theres much more pride to take in that than being one of these social justice lemmings who pounce on people over a digital medium for cracking a damn joke.
  10. I think this team is strangely going to be competitive. Give me Balfour, he'll come cheapest. If were good, hey Grant Balfour ain't awful. If were bad, hey its just Grant Balfour.
  11. You do too. We all do. We've had over 500 people working full time to make more laws since 1789. They've done a lot, we break laws every day with or without knowing. (I've had an awful bit of luck the past few days, hence the delay in response).
  12. I'm going to take your word for it, because that'd be a strange thing to lie about. But none of you others start taking ownership of what Quinarvy did. I know that's going to be your gut reaction, rally around the herd, but you're going after myself the individual and you better have the balls to do it as individuals.
  13. How many people in this thread actually baked some cookies or wrote a letter to those families? Show of hands, come on. Let's see some proof of this empathy. I know none of you did. Know how I figured that. Name the dude who shot up the school. Now name one kid who died in the shooting. Right. The fact is nobody cares about the kids. You care about the horror, the spectacle, the villian, the story... but in the end the victims just last in your mind as a number. If you actually cared you'd do something about it, not just b**** and whine. You'd help someone affected, you'd make an effort that maybe required some sacrifice on your part. That's what caring is, folks. You invest yourself in something, what the f*** have any of you pretending to be on some moral high ground invested in the aftermath of that tragedy? Some posts on a message board? A conversation at work or amongst friends? Essentially nothing. Just like me. Face up and admit it, this is a political issue for you and has been since you first heard about it. Cut the bulls*** for once. Lol OK. So I shouldn't own guns because of my opinions. Alright, I'll ball. How are you supposed to take them away? Where's your warrant to break in and take them? Or does the 4A no longer apply to me because I hold the wrong opinions? Might as well skip the trial, torture a confession out of me then strap a gag order over my face for life. Because I don't deserve rights since I don't agree with Balta. This hints at a larger issue that these collectivist state worshippers really don't believe in rights. I mean, if you're a perfectly law abiding tax paying citizen who is content just sitting in a cubicle all day being ultra productive that's fine. He has rights because he's already under control. He's a good little slave and since he's been so good you'll hand him the illusion that he can do what he wants, knowing full well the most he'll do is maybe get a DUI. The state and its corporate f***-buddies still come out way ahead. The real reason you don't want me having rights is because I'm not so easily controlled. And I know what I'm saying here speaks to everyone here on a level you aren't willing to admit to. So label me an angry nutjob and hopefully you can defame my character enough to discredit what I actually have to say. Because these thoughts, that all of us have, are absolutely fatal to your political ideology of control and repression. You sound like BP after that rig blew up in the Gulf. Tip: come up with something independent that you didn't glean from Upworthy of some other liberal cliche generator. This reads like a corporate PR team loading up on the buzz words the public loves in anticipation of releasing it as a Hallmark "I'm sorry" card after they get caught pumping mercury into the water supply.
  14. I also dont care if Balta thinks I shouldnt own guns. I dont hurt anyone with them and I dont plan to.
  15. Why should I really care? So I can formulate some self-serving political motive I can brag to my friends about? Maybe a way I can passive aggressively attack the rural culture of America? None of it ever comes from a place of truly caring about anyone. The closest you get to an actual magnanimous thought regarding this are the people who just want to stop seeing it on the news (but they paradoxically watch that crap religiously). Its all fake outrage exploited by those in power to score some more control for the state. If you actually gave a s*** you'd do something. And by "do something" I dont mean raising awareness or similarly useless tripe. You'd send those families some money, you'd volunteer to offer some support to the siblings... s*** if it effects you that much write them a letter expressing your condolances. But you do NONE of that. It shows you dont care, at least I have the self awareness to admit it.
  16. Really? Im the sociopath? Not the rest of you who cause a cable news gaper's block everytime someone shoots up a public place? Or your obsessions with who has the highest "score". Theres a reason cable TV cant get enough of these shootings, its because America loves it. Thats almost as bad as the Balta's and SS' who want these shootings to keep getting worse so their political agenda can be expedited. Dont even try to deny this... its so f***ing clear whenever the story is reposted somewhere. You think "Only two hurt? No dead? Well that wont get sympathy from anyone". But I'm the sociopath. I am ambivalent. I just dont care anymore. If the shootings stop, great... if they dont, great. Just keep your hands off my guns.
  17. It would monumentally uncomfortable to kill off Paul Walkers character in a car wreck. Holy s***, could you imagine the outrage over the lack of sensitivity? I hope they do it.
  18. NO FANTASY TALK ARG NGHHHHHGGGHH In other news, we shouldn't have lost to Minnesota. That was silly and will end up costing us.
  19. That I attribute much more to advances in technology than social engineering projects that reside purely in a land of theory and the isolated test tube of academia. Think Pruitt-Igoe. I can go down this tangent because this is about NYC... but what happened? Id been many times but never for an extended stay, fly in, drive through, I went out of my way once a few years ago to go way out of my way on a drug fueled road trip up the East Coast to cross the Verrazano Bridge and go through Brooklyn... but until pretty recently I never stopped there. Never saw it. Id heard it was crazy. Like anything goes all the time, if you wanted something (legal or not) you could get it on a street corner at any time of day or night. Like a big, English-speaking Nuevo Laredo. Cool, I like that even if I lost interest in drugs and never been much for hookers. The characters that atmosphere attracts give a place a real charm. New York was nothing like that. Sure its a physical spectacle but other than that its bland. Too much modern sterilization, everything is just so overly inviting I felt turned off. I dont like rampant murder, but a little grit goes a long way. New York has none, not even Brooklyn (the Bronx had some moments but it was more blight than anything). What the hell happened? I keep up with s***. I thought all the soda ban nonsense was just news because some lily suburb would follow precedent and the obedient serfs who dwelled there would dare not defy. But no, New Yorkers--these big proud people from a massive city who didnt take s***--just take it. Its no more fun and interesting than Aurora, its a big vertical commercial wasteland that inspires nothing but disgust. If there ever was a people that need to feel the power of a nice .308 rifle in their hands its New Yorkers. They need liberation.
  20. We live in an imperfect world with death and suffering. Attempts to eradicate that reality always fail and always diminish the quality of the short, fragile existence we do get.
  21. I dont care about mass shootings at all. If that level of tragedy is too much for us to bear we've gone completely soft. Lightning kills more people. Maybe we should ban lightning.
  22. Id think you'd be pleased with the progress made in the past year in destroying our rights. I know, the 2A is still pretty in tact and figures to stay that way regardless of how much we need to THINK OF THE CHILDEN, but take solace in finally shooting the 4th (pesky f***er tgat one was eh?) in the back of the head.
  23. The anniversary of Sandy Hook really brought out the whining.
