I cried when the Bears were eliminated. When we got knocked out of the playoffs in HS Football this year after I got home I f***ing bawled.

Hillenmeyer is a good fit for us.. hes a liability in coverage but thats why theres a nickel package. I'd like some depth at OLB however, so if Ernie Sims slips in round 2 (he wont.. but stranger things have happened) I'd drool. We need a NB and Nosetackle on Defense. If we get those 2 we improve enough to keep up with the league and we stay top 3. Thomas Jones is a marquee RB who nobody talks about, were set at RB. Jason McKie is a fine FB, I like having him. We just need a TE and some WRs to cover up how bad our QBs are. Give me ARE, Reg Wayne and draft a top 3 TE and I'm already really loving the offseason.

I didnt read this thread, and Im not going to. But I know you guys basically knocked Tillman like crazy, said he sucked then said we need a fast CB who cannot bench 250 lbs. Im guessing I heard a lot of generic Bears fan crap and nobody really question why Thompson was even lined up over Steve Smith, or why there was no Safety help. Just the same crap like "WE NEED HELP IN THE SECONDARY." No we dont. Chris Harris is the best DB on our team, and thats saying a lot. Tillman is a more complete CB than Vasher and Mike Brown is a goddamn Pro Bowler. Our defense needs a NT so Carolina's s***ty OL doesnt block even s***tier Ian Scott (led off the season so well too) and have NICK GOINGS run past them all. Our lack of an NT reminds me of a picutre I saw of 5 KC Chiefs getting blocked by 1 GIANTS LINEMAN, then Ron Dayne busting a 15 yard gain.

give me Reggie Wayne and Antwan RandleEl then draft Davis/Lewis/Pope and I will not be mad at all. If Alan Zemaitis even ends up the Bears I give our Offseason an A+.

He's my #4 Safety. I think he's well suited for that position, I've talked to a big UTEP fan on another board and he really think Howard is better there too.

I LOVE JEFF SAMARDIZJA!! If he came out this year he'd be my #1 WR. But Rice and Johnson are both better than him. Samardizja for 07 is sitting pretty around 30.
