Thomas Howard has dissappeared in every big game for the Miners. Jeremy Jones is 10X the player he is.. you'll hear about him a lot next year. Best closing speed I've seen in a while from an LB. He could play Safety too.

Losing 60% of the OLine and Vince Young isnt going to be good. Theyll have solid running game with Ramonce Taylor and Selmon Young, but whos going to be getting the ball to Limas Sweed now? I have questions about Texas.. they arent going to be as good last year as they were this year.. thats obvious.

Tennessee?! They lose Sirmon, Haralson, Allen and Maholena off that defense. The lose Riggs on O, and who the hell is Eric Ainge? If I had to do the top 30 QB's for 2007 right now.. he'd struggle to make the list. OU is decent, they came on last with Peterson and Bomar.. theyre beatable. They probably lose than game to Oregon if Oregon has Clemens (I sound like a USC fan now talking about how they dont have a cupcake conference), but thats looking too far into it. Kentucky is good this year too, Andre Goodman will impress next year and Micah Johnson is a stud.. thats somebody to watch out for. I try pretty hard not to listen to what idiot sports writers are paid off to say or at least not take it to heart. Just form your own opinions on s***.. youre right a lot more often that way. (Tennessee at #3 or what was it at the beginning of the year? Thats a joke)

By traditional standards.. no. But you throw that talent into the right NFL coach and you have a stud. He'll get some attention when ISU wins the Big 12.

Coker has led the Hurricanes to one national championship, two Bowl Championship Series title game appearances, three BCS bowl game appearances, three consecutive Big East Conference championships, and a remarkable 44-6 record in four seasons as the Hurricanes head coach. With who's players? Butch Davis'. The luck stops here, the LSU game is a sign of things to come. Coker saved his job by canning half his staff, but next year its him on the chopping block. He's got Kyle Wright (who will always be developing) and Tyrone Moss (I'll give them credit on him, hes a very talented Football player... who has no knee left), but Orien Harris and Devin Hester have all the talent in the world yet look like chickens with thier heads cut off. Look at Miami.. they ahve Floridas fertile recruiting grounds yet cant get in the BCS or win the conference. They got destroyed by LSU and they dont look like the Miami's of old. Coker is no Butch Davis.. and the only times hes won its becase hes leeched of Davis' players.

He should be a WR. Him and Ted Ginn got it wrong if you ask some people, I like Ginn at WR and Hester at WR. I dont care, having a guy as fast as Hester on your team is a good player to have.

B/c Brian Calhoun shouldve been a Hiesman finalist. The guy dominated this year, Drew didnt dominate nearly the way Calhoun did.

I HATE downgrading a RB due to size, but I have to with Drew. I think he has all the talent in the world.. but hes tiny. He wieghs less than most CB's. Some websites have him listed at 200+... he isnt. If he can punch out that wieght at the combine he'll fly up the boards for me. The shorter the RB the better IMO.

Texas' OL didnt dominate the packages.. the dominated Rucker (whatever his name is... he sounds like the Panthers DE Rucker.. so I call him Rucker) and Lawrence Jackson and when you have Blalock and Scott like they do.. I expect it. Carroll blitzed him, Young threaded coverage.. or ran. Carroll doesnt blitz him.. Young sits FLAT FOOTED (never happens with mobile QB's) and find his guy downfield.

Pete Carroll was a Head Coach in the NFL. Pete Carroll gameplanned for Vince Young. Ehh... look at what Young did to those gameplans. Those crazy ass blitz packages we were promised were dominated by Young. He read them all and knew what was going on.

Young delivery is "awkward" not "b****ly." Hes that kind of player who dominate College Defenses, but then once the Pro's start gameplanning for him he loses his edge.
