Mike Williams over Cedric Benson? It's obviously feasable and you could make a case for it, but it I dont think you'd make a very good case. Mike Williams defines slow and stupid, people raved about his hands and "playmaking ability" (FYI, Bradley is faster and has better hands than Bust Mike Williams) when so far this year he's shown that he is slow, dumber than at first thought and has little as far as hands go. If we wanted to get a big dumb WR we shouldve gotten Larry Brackins from YadaYada-River Community College. Kid can leap, he's 6-4 -- 6-5 and hes got wheels.. pretty big work in progress though, but better than the Bust. The Bears realisticly shouldve picked Cadillac Williams, he tried to talk his way onto the team by saying he idolized Payton and a whole bunch of other stuff. Oh well, TJones is better than them both.

Trade up for.. Jerome Mathis? Uhh.. what would be giving up? Because if we gave up even Mike Green for Jerome Mathis I'd be asking "why? why? why?." Trade up's arent free, teams just dont say "oh you want to move up.. here you go." Do you have any idea how much a trade up costs? What essentially was a trade up between the Giants and Chargers cost the Giants a 5th, a 4th and a 1st. That was 4 spots. We didnt even have a 3rd round pick to trade with (we gave it away for our 7 sack soon-to-be-probowler Adewale Ogunleye). So.. I ask you, what do you suppose we trade away for Jerome Mathis, I hope you dont say our 4th or 6th round picks, spent on Kyle Orton and Chris Harris. You'll probably say 5th round pick assuming anybody can trade up 1 whole round and a half for absolutely nothing just because they wanted to.

Im talkign before the season. We were the consummated (sp?) 32 around the NFL.

Heres my logic. The Bears just whooped the NFC's best team, so does that mean we can win the NFC? Yes it does. We win the NFC and we get one game against 1 AFC Team, just 1 AFC teams filled with human beings. We arnet playing the AFC Pro Bowl team or anything. The way I see it we get one shot at the AFC if we win the NFC (which isnt far-fetched) We can win it all this year, I have no doubt in my mind. Maybe I'm just riding the high of this game though.

People dont think they have a shot because they started the season #32. Get that s***ty ESPN "Ha, the Bears suck" jokes outta your head and watch OTHER game in the NFL and you will see NO DEFENSES who play half as good as the Bears. If you dont watch and pay attention to football, youre best just shutting up and going off to discuss the offseason for the White Sox.

We just beat Carolina who has the class of the NFC.. so really, I dont know who youre talking about NFC-Wise. And all the AFC dicksucking is getting annoying, Pittsburgh just lost to the s***ty Ravens. Indy? So what? They choke every year and theyre defense looks like a paper right now against Cincy. Of all the AFC teams to be afraid of it's Cincy. They beat us once and they can do it again.

Bears fans are so dulled by mediocrity to understand they have a legit shot at making and maybe winning hte NFC Champ game, and once s*** goes to the SB, anything can happen.

Knew this would happen. Krenzel and Orton are completely different situation wise. Krenzel was horrible, Orton has been tolerable.
