Same exact concept: Dude who has absolutely no idea what he's talking about hopes to create policy based on his ignorant factpinions. And it wasn't just mixing up, it was more than that. Usually people who get clip and magazine confused simply believe they are one in the same, so how would it makes sense for 40 clips to fit inside one magazine? And the comment about clips in rounds... where do I even start? Is there a bullet out there that can store more bullets inside it to make reloading faster? But then if there were... but there cant... it doesn't make any sense.

Dont you want the people banning s*** to have the slightest idea of what they're banning? If this were a Republican Senator spouting some ignorant bulls*** about rape you'd be up in arms about him being out of touch. Same applies.
-
Joe Biden talked about guns today. He said something about 40 clips in a magazine and 10 clips in a round. Seriously.

Your attributing my arguments to arguments other people have made. I think I've given you enough material to disagree with in the past 20 posts, no need to bring others in.
-
I use straw men all the time, so it'd be unfair for me to judge others for it.
-
Pretty much. If asking politely for people to not steal or kill worked I'd be down with that, but it doesn't. Oh well.

Ahh see you took it a little too far. Roads- Eh, I could live with them being privatized (and some are) if it could be done in a good-faith way. But we all know the government would endorse one company to run a monopoly and before long it would function the exact same way most state bureaucracies do. The Interstates' serve a defense purpose and when they aren't being used for that it'd be kinda stupid to not open them up for civil use. Fire departments and police departments exist to protect property rights, which should be the one and only function of a state. The same way the army is there to deter foreigners who would take all your stuff, police are there to deter the same threat on a domestic level. Fires are also really good at taking away all your stuff, even if you aren't the one who started the fire. Hence, fire department. Public schools are disasters, but they are a necessary evil. If it were my way they'd have state and federal funding cut off completely, all their pet unions decertified and people without kids or kids in private school wouldn't pay taxes for them. If you're stupid and want your kids to grow up stupid send them to public schools, your loss.
-
I'd have cut them off a long time ago. If you lose a war you lose what you were fighting for... that's the f***ing breaks. No more free land or government handouts.

I dont care about poverty. In 1950 I would've cared about structural racism but 63 years later much has been done to rectify that issue, so I dont really care about that either. What I do care about is how much I pay in taxes and where that money goes. I've never heard a compelling argument from anyone as to why I should be forced at gunpoint to give my money to something I dont care about. Some say a little welfare in the short term saves us a lot of welfare in the long term, I dont care... I dont want to pay for any welfare for anyone (or anything, since corporate welfare has gotten so crazy too). I should not be forced to pay for someone else's kids' schools, or their food, or their rent or their anything. Some say there is a benefit to it (I see none) and if those people feel obligated to subsidize others and their life then they can give money on their own accord, but taking it from me is stealing. That's where I stand on this.

If your pay goes up (just throwing this number out there) 5% in one year, and inflation claims 5% of the dollars value in that same year.... your wage is stagnant. Manufacturing is actually coming back to the US, so your symptom actually matches my diagnosis.
-
By borrowing all the money for your social welfare programs to make yourself feel good you've crushed the value of the dollar which has stagnated wages. Cost of everything goes up, our pay stays the same and Papa Government no matter what still needs his slice to just pay the interest.

They can do something about it they just chose not to. In spite of all the damage your ideology has done to class mobility in this country its still America and if you work hard enough you can enjoy a middle class livelihood. Unfortunately the recklessness with which we've treated our currency and the addiction to saddling the middle class with obscene taxes has made the amount of work required to enjoy that livelihood much greater, but you just got to suck it up. Welcome to the world, s*** isn't fair.
-
No, you just try and frame the argument to "SOMETHING MUST BE DONE, WHAT SHALL WE DO" and get a little hissy when someone brings up the idea of just doing nothing.

The Great Liberal Myth: I'm better than you because I steal money from some people to waste on others.
-
Yup. Thats about it. Some bad laws and we had to go through the divisive and arduous process of removing those laws. 500,000 Americans died to get rid of slavery, and ending state segregation was not a bloodless endeavor either. It wasn't as simple as just changing the law undoing that s***.
-
Someone needs to cancel out your drama-queen act.
-
"need"? Like we are absolutely compelled to to meet the basic requirements for survival? Nah ha ha ha, no we dont "need" to do anything. We could just sit back and not care. I mean we've amended, changed, trashed and created all the legislation necessary to remove segregation and bigotry from the state. That's been done, that was this countries' cross to bear for all the bad s*** it got itself caught up in with the past.

1. Open carry is stupid and unless you're in the woods or in one of those extremely rare circumstances where you need to advertise having a gun on you it does more harm than good. Maybe you're thinking concealed carry? 2. If you're thinking concealed carry I'd like to point you to just a couple quick statistics on how it works out: Texas: 1364 homicides (6.07 per 100,000). 65% committed with a firearm. Illinois: 776 homicides (6.10 per 100,000). 75% committed with a firearm. So not are you only more likely to get murdered in Illinois, toughest gun laws in the country by the way, you're also more likely to have been murdered by a gun here too. So yea, your gun free utopia actually has more gun violence than your make-believe stereotype of Texas where everyone's just shooting at each other.
-
So two people were wounded in the shooting. Oh the humanity. edit- one of them had a heart attack. So. Yea. Evil assault clips.
-
Its true, you guys borderline fantasize about it every time the intent of the 2A is brought up.

Liberals sure are falling in love with the military apparatus once they came around to the idea that they could use the military to kill anyone who doesn't go along with their plans. You've been seeing a lot of talk about it, especially after Sandy Hook. "You wouldn't stand a chance against drones!", "Your pesky AR-15 stands no chance against our superior firepower"... its pretty disturbing.
-
So they cannot honor the memory of someone who is still considered a hero because liberals dont like the timing?

Check these (in order): 1. Serp Belt 2. Battery 3. Alternator The first two are easily DIY-able.
