We accept the fact that there will be illegal gun ownership in this country. We'll never eradicate it, people who really want guns (particularly those looking to commit crimes) will get guns. The worst strategy is to punish non-criminals who want firearms by forcing them through more bureaucracy, fees and other ATF/state government bulls***. It makes no sense, pile more laws on against people who will follow them while the intended targets of the laws keep ignoring them. But I guess were hooked on ban culture.

I try and hit it right on the mark (I dont like giving the government an interest free loan), but my income has really fluctuated this year and I made like twice the amount I've ever made this tax season, so I have no idea really what I'll be looking at.

The issue is publicly insulting our entire justice and legislative system on national TV, not the actual crime that Gregory committed.

1. I didn't threaten or even make a questionable remark about Diane Feinstein. That rule is clearly there to keep people from saying things like "IF BUSH WINS IN 2004 I HOPE SOMEONE SHOOTS HIM" or "Obama is the anti-christ, march on Washington for him to publically executed!". I used Diane Feinstein merely as an example to prove a point: That if some laws dont apply to the political elite, even the political elite you agree with, then you've essentially made it so no laws apply to the political elite. 2. The AIDS comments. Again, I was trying to make a point. Throughout the thread anti-guns were complaining about how dangerous and risky firearm ownerships is, but AIDS kills more people than guns every year and essentially sentences to death almost 4 times the average US gun deaths per year. However since gays are a political ally of those generally willing to take away guns (generalizing a little I know) you'd be completely unwilling to take "humanitarian" measures to save lives that otherwise would not have been taken by AIDS. Honestly, I dont think we should ban guns nor should we ban gay sex because they both fall under civil rights. It's called holding a consistent view, try it sometime.

So laws shouldn't apply to Democrats. If Diane Feinstein rapes and murders a 6 year old she should be let off because her fighting the EVIL SECOND AMENDMENT has saved so many lives, right?

Well Toub is already gone (pretty much) and I see no reason why Marinelli would stick, so right there were losing two of the best assistant coaches in the game. If the Bears can find a way to replace that (and more) to make up for Trestman going off the grid for 5 years I'll feel better, but I doubt that happens. I was pretty gung-ho about dumping Lovie, but now I'm not so sure.

Slightly better than a guy who's been in Canada for the last 5 years. I know Trestman did some cool stuff in Oakland, but that was a decade ago... is he really ready to go back to NFL game speed?

You know, I was poor for all of 6 months. I didn't like it, so I decided I'd stop being poor. Now I'm not poor anymore. It wasn't particularly difficult, I just had to stop throwing away money like an idiot and make a conscious effort to save. The people we really shouldn't listen to are the ones that are poor now, have been poor for like 10-20 years (or more), and dont seem to understand why they are still poor. These people are not experts on breaking out of poverty.
