  1. LeBron chokes on one end, Rose chokes on the other. I'm failing to see how this game is dooming the Bulls season.
  2. Almost never do all 3 of the Miami play their best together. Doesn't matter who they are playing, at least one of them is due to play like s***.
  3. I know Rose likes using that 3 point shot, but if he gets wild with it the whole team just sinks.
  4. I could only imagine the venom if we got Stoudemire.
  5. I'm usually pro Boozer, but the Asik/Gibson duo should be in right now.
  6. Unless you are the Packers, Saints or Patriots Peyton Manning represents a massive upgrade. Instant playoff team, instant Super Bowl contender and if Peyton stays healthy and SF's defense is this good next year they are borderline locks to win it all. We saw this year how putrid that Colts roster is, that is what Manning has been taking to the playoffs for a decade now.
  7. Complaining about contracts in the middle of the season is useless, just people finding something (ANYTHING!) to b**** about. Boozer has been much better this year than he was last year, I get the feeling nobody will ever be content with his level of play though at this point. Noah is turning it around too.
  8. If this guy wants to keep a low profile he was probably better off just shooting people.
  9. He's a middle linebacker... you kinda want those guys to be tough.
  10. "First of all, we love football," Urlacher said in quotes obtained by the Chicago Tribune. "We want to be on the field as much as we can be. If we can be out there, it may be stupid, it may be dumb, call me dumb and stupid then, because I want to be on the football field." "If I have a concussion these days, I'm going to say something happened to my toe or knee just to get my bearings for a few plays," he told HBO, according to the Tribune. "I'm not going to sit in there and say I got a concussion. (Then) I can't go in there the rest of the game." http://espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/story/_/id/...-lie-stay-field I think I have enough respect already for Brian, I really wouldnt want to have him eating out of a tube at 45.
  11. Now might be the right time to mention that head football coaches are not given the power to arrest people or charge them with crimes.

    SOPA

Stealing is a fact of business life. Merchandise "disappears", employees show up driving cars they maybe shouldn't afford... its all part of the process. I guarantee if you just pulled your car over on intersection of Western/Armitage and watched the delivery shipments come in all day you count up $1000's of dollars of stuff disappearing from the trucks.
  13. Longevity is everything. You can be a flash in the pan athletic freak, but that only lasts so long most of the time. I dont understand why people say how much better Sanders and Brown were than Payton. A huge part of being an NFL RB is durability, if there is enough prevailing skill thats probably the biggest thing you want out of a great RB. Nobody takes more punishment in professional sports than NFL runningacks. Payton missed 1 game in his rookie year from the day he signed with the Bears until the day he retired. That counts for a lot more than all these guys who had great ~5 year stints but couldn't keep it up over a decade of getting leveled (especially considering Walter's style wasnt really about avoiding contact).
  14. Gibson hasnt been nearly as good as Boozer this season and really Asik vs. Noah is a wash. Noah starts because we know there's a damn good player in there, which to me is justifiable.
  15. Im not sure it was running out of gas as much as it was failing to hold leads and lacking the mental makeup to win a huge playoff series. But yea, that was on Thibs and his rotations... OK. Oh and if Rose wasn't OK to play I'm sure he wouldnt have played. Rose probably wants to be out there to keep his stats up a little bit (back to back MVP hopes n stuff).
  16. His game rotations have built up our bench mob; that unit which will enable us to survive this ridiculous 66 game schedule. I dont see how Thibs has opened himself up to criticism. Just bizarre nitpicking while were in the midst of beating a team by 15 points.
  17. Im confident Noah will turn it around eventually this season. The Pistons have no answer for Boozer, hes dominating.
  18. Boring football just like the last game. Watching Bulls.
