We didn't like foreign entanglements so much then. They had the chance of compromising some of our values.

I got into a physical altercation with a driver when he got out of his car and confronted me. Apparently I wasn't moving over enough and came storming out all in a huff about it. I mean, it's kind of a lose/lose... if I'm in the lane I'm a menace to the drivers and if I'm way the side I'm holding my breath as I pass every parked car. The Loop is not a bike friendly place, especially when I'm making remote location drops that dont allow me to take any paths. As a driver I hate it when there are bikes on lower Wacker, something about a 6 inch shoulder and blind turns everywhere however has made cyclists want to ride it more. This applies a little bit to Wabash as well, but at a much lesser extent.

I was at both those games as well. Probably the best two I've been to.

I am very leery of trading any position players (even prospects) for starting pitchers. Crazy things happen way too often, if we want to trade young pitching for established pitching I'm all for it... but not willing to sell the farm on position guys we could need in the coming seasons all for a very risky (and expensive) player. Viciedo still has that potential to complete a very solid young IF and Flowers could end up being a very valuable 20 HR/.350 OBP catcher for us when AJ is finished playing. Not too keen on making a big deal this year, I feel really good with where the team is at right now with Pods and Beckham emerging the way they have.

I feel pretty good about never really jumping on Wise like some have.

There is no way in hell we should trade an everyday player like Gordon Beckham for Roy Halladay. I wouldn't even do that trade straight up.
-
I would not trade Alexei Ramirez for Roy Halladay. That might make me crazy.

He is Commander in Chief of the military. He can do that.

If the kid can play ball the kid can play ball. Dont care how old he is. -
Thank god she's finally gone.

Those 40 years would be hell. At some point he had to realize that he was going to get caught, just waiting for that day he knew was coming was probably not fun. Imagine waking up every day wondering if that would be the day you would be caught red-handed for one of the worst crimes of the decade.

I work for one of those boat tour companies in Chicago, I'm bombarded daily with idiocy that should have made me insane: "Can the boats sink?" - Did people learn to not say that with that whole Titanic problem? But considering the closest thing any tour boat company has legitimately had since the Eastland (100+ years ago) was the Seadog losing prop and having to beach it nothing has even gone remotely wrong with the integrity of the boats on the lake. It's Lake Michigan, not the Bering Straight. "What if the boat sinks?" - Hope there isn't one lifejacket left and you and I are the last two people without one. "What if I fall off the boat?" - Sharks eat you. "Is it free?" - I'm paid to sit here and sell you a boat ride that is free. Right. I got a funny one a couple weeks ago when Obama was in town (he flies over the lake in his helicopter so they can see what's below them easily). "Which helicopter is Obama in?" It would kind of defeat the purpose of having like 12 helicopters if they told every employee making $10 a hour off Navy Pier which one the President is in.

About 10 minutes into any flight I fall into a coma. I've had some pretty crazy dreams while on planes though.

Nobody's considering the possibility that his wife could be a giant c***. The continued god angle is pretty funny though: "God is testing me by putting all these beautiful South American women on the planet that I have to fly a few thousand miles to get to." I mean, the whole God Squad thing got pretty well exposed as a farce when we all found out you were f***ing pretty much every women you saw BUT your wife... is there any point in keeping it up?
-
Give the f***ing guy a break, he was completely denied a childhood and went nuts. Have some sympathy and stop hating the sinner more than the sin.
-
You should've picked Gordon Beckham up as fast as you possibly could in a keeper league. edit: depending on how many players you are allowed to keep.

Bill O'Reilly called George Tiller "a baby killer" witho

Dont let him suck you in... -
I chose this video because this is FOX, I dont even need to go into the connotations that surround this network and people's feelings on it, should be common knowledge. What I'm looking for here is input from you guys, is the internet fueling a radicalism in the US? Is this radicalism leading to the demonization of the large news networks with something to lose? If we continue to attack legitimate media sources can that impair our societal moral keel? Haven't been posting much. Looking forward to someone saying something insightful.

Networks might not to be blame, but there is definitely a correlation between nutjob blogs on your RSS feed and the number of abortion clinics you wish you could blow up. Media, if you count all of its forms, has a lot of blame in this.
