Its important that we solidify our pitching staff for the playoff run and hopefully the playoffs. I would like to see a trade for Zito, and move El Duque to the pen for spot start and long relief. El Duque is a quality playoff pitcher, and having him on the roster at playoff time is an absolute bonus. I think Zito can be had for a quality prospect and a mid level prospect. His stats this year are not too good, but he is on a s***ty team. He still has one of the best if not the best curve balls from the left side in the game. What are your thoughts?

I think if you put the right package together it could get done. As far as Chavez's contract , it is highly unlikely that we resign Paulie next year, so there's your money for chavez. I think Chavez has more top side than Paulie.

Crede, Marte, B-Mac to Oakland for Chavez and Zito. Oakland wants to get rid of Zito, and we need another starter. We take one of the cubans and move him to the pen. Cotts takes over the set up role. We also get one of the best third baseman in the league who is starting to get hot.

Everyone please relax!! We one the series that is what matters. Sure I would have enjoyed the sweep, but we now have a rested bullpen for the weekend series against a division opponent. You guys have to remember this is a marathon not a sprint. Walker will be gone in day or so, and I think KW will continue to work on our bullpen. There will be different pitchers in the pen come august and sept.

Viz has shown nothing this entire season he needs to be replaced. This piece of s*** can get two f***in outs. He lost bmac the win.!!

I would like to add a lefthander. Im not sure Cotts is playoff ready. A Guadardo type closer , make sure we have at least six starters. I like having six starters just in case u have to use one of them in relief.
