  1. QUOTE (Condor13 @ Jul 6, 2015 -> 08:39 PM) Just from a baseball perspective, it would not shock me at all if Sale's agent asked/demanded a trade. He deserves to be on a major league baseball team. Just have him demand that Robin be s***canned and everything will be fine.
  2. Looks like Sale may have to go 10 innings to get the record
  3. I still don't like Abreu batting second. He's our best source of power and has to bat 3rd, 4th, or 5th in the order.
  4. It really is time to end the Sanchez experiment.
  5. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jul 6, 2015 -> 07:25 PM) JA has been average at best this year, If thats the case, I wish we had a whole lot more average players on the roster.
  6. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 21, 2015 -> 01:53 PM) White Sox hitting an almost inexplicable .120 with risp this month, .249 on the season. Who came name the three Mexican pitchers with more career wins than Gallardo? Not Teddy Higuera. One pitched for the White Sox. Fernando
  7. QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 21, 2015 -> 01:44 PM) Can't wait to see what they do with 3 in Minnesota, 4 in Detroit, and 2 in St. Louis. 4 wins would be a surprise. Fire Robin and we might go 9-0
  8. I told you this was bad when the move was announced. When the manager showed he doesn't care, why should the players give a damn? Haven't won a game since the start of the Tampa series and I'm not sure if we'll win another all season the way things are going.
  9. To me, this just demonstrates Robin's lack of passion for the job. I have no problem with a parent attending his daughters graduation. However, any manager who really had a strong commitment to the position (and to the team) would minimize the time away. I doubt there is another manger in the league that would miss 3 games for this occasion. Almost all would miss one. Some would miss two. Missing an entire series just shows that our manager would rather have a vacation instead of working. That's a problem.
  10. QUOTE (GreenSox @ May 29, 2015 -> 11:57 PM) He stroke seems more compact. Maybe the Angels corrected than in that 6 weeks he was there. I believe they did. Play him everyday and I believe he could win the triple crown.
  11. Any progress been made on this situation? I know that Ventura is limiting his playing time in order to try and drive his price down. However, we need Beckham playing every night and tonight's game shows why that is the case. Open the checkbook, lock him up, and lets start a quest to a World Series championship in 2015.
  12. Ugggghhhh....two innings where Beckham could have won the game for us and he's left to get splinters in his ass
  13. I'm disappointed that Robin didn't give Beckham a chance to win this game in the bottom of the 9th.
  14. Attaboy Beckham......its really about time we get him signed to a long term contract. Not sure what Hahn is waiting for.
  15. QUOTE (Jake @ May 14, 2015 -> 12:44 PM) I may freak out if Gordon becomes the full-time starting 2B That would be awesome. Hope it comes with a long term extension!
  16. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 10, 2015 -> 06:40 PM) Is this suppose to be a joke? I don't get it. The only joke is how Greg Walker almost ruined this guy's career. Now that he's overcome the bad habits instilled by our old hitting coach and is truly reaching his potential, I'd like to make sure he's in a White Sox uniform for the rest of his career.
  17. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 10, 2015 -> 07:24 PM) I'd sign Beckham for a two-year deal 5 million a year. I think we all would....but there's no way he's signing a deal that low.
  18. QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ May 10, 2015 -> 07:04 PM) If Beckham signs an 8 year $75 million deal tomorrow I'm jumping off a building. I'd be happy....but not happy enough to do something crazy like that.
  19. It's obvious by now that we got a steal on Gordo for 2015 with only a $2 million dollar salary (its scary to think where this team would be without him). However, if we don't extend him soon, he's going to be too pricey for us in 2016 and beyond. Give him a 6-8 year deal now worth $75-100 million and lets secure the face of the franchise for the foreseeable future.
  20. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 6, 2015 -> 09:45 PM) Let's not get ahead of ourselves here If we don't tie him up now, he may end up out of our price range.
  21. QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 6, 2015 -> 09:43 PM) Despite the result there, I like the new Beckham He has turned into a helluva ballplayer. We need to get him signed to a long term contract.
  22. I believe this season can turn around with a change in manager....I just don't know if his superiors have the nads to make the move.
