  1. QUOTE (jeffro2525 @ Apr 15, 2012 -> 02:43 PM) Lilli has honestly looked just as horrible in his 5 at-bats this year. We have a good third baseman on our bench....his initials are RV
  2. Peavy was definitely getting his swagger back. I hope that HR does nothing to effect his confidence next start (and I don't think it will)
  3. If the playoffs started now, who do you have pitching game 1 of the postseason? Danks, Sale, or Peavy?
  4. Come on now Jake....9 pitches, 9 strikes, 3 outs. Keep up the push for the 3012 Cy Young award.
  5. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 7, 2012 -> 10:46 PM) This thread is stupid and beyond ridiculous. But if we're handing out post-season awards on April 7th, I'd say Chone Figgins is the favorite for CPOTY. Call me crazy....but i don't believe for a second that Chone will hit 81 HRs this season! Rios is the man! Go Alex! Sign him to an extension Kenny before the dollars needed becomes crazy!
  6. QUOTE (bucket-of-suck @ Apr 7, 2012 -> 11:13 PM) Uh, no. At the rate he's going, he'll end up with 81 HR's and 81 GWRBI's. I think those both would be records! Cheers to Alex! :cheers
  7. Dunno should have a lot more speed with his new physique. Perhaps he's a candidate to bat leadoff
  8. I bet he would have signed here if we had offered 15 years $125 million. Its a shame....he could have been a legend on the south side. Instead, he becomes a nobody in the bay.
  9. If we are in rebuilding mode, could our chances be enhanced by offering him a guaranteed start on the major league roster? (similar to what we did to sign Sale).
  10. QUOTE (iamshack @ Dec 22, 2011 -> 06:05 PM) They're hoping to do what the Marlins are doing this year. They're trying to get a stadium and time a wave of kids to come up just as it opens, then fortify the roster w/ free agent signings based on increased anticipated revenues. One big difference though....Ozzie is not off the market so they can't make the same splash.
  11. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Dec 15, 2011 -> 10:04 PM) No, he's just being funny or trying at least.. I don't think we can post copyright information....can we?
  12. QUOTE (ScottyDo @ Dec 15, 2011 -> 09:39 PM) Anything interesting? Yes
  13. QUOTE (striker @ Dec 15, 2011 -> 07:04 PM) Anyone read the ESPN insider trade suggestions for the Sox? Yes
  14. Can't wait to see Albert Pujols make his debut as the new DH for the White Sox!

  16. QUOTE (mmmmmbeeer @ Sep 24, 2011 -> 02:20 PM) I'm fairly sure his point was that the teams he's put together were good e nough to be in first place. It's up to the manager to continue to milk the talent to keep them there. i That may have been what he was trying to say.....but in reality, he has consistently built teams with second, third, or fouth talent only to have Ozzie make them overachieve.
  17. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 23, 2011 -> 04:24 PM) I'd say 6-8 with an option to buy the team. If JR ever wanted to sell this team, I couldn't think of a better owner.
  18. QUOTE (MAX @ Sep 23, 2011 -> 04:19 PM) You agree with a 6 to 8 year extension? I'd prefer 10 or 12.....but 6-8 would be acceptable.
