  1. QUOTE(TheOcho @ Jun 9, 2007 -> 05:22 PM) I like you. That momentum swing is going to start here as we score at least 4 runs in the bottom of the 8th....than Jenks comes in and strikes out the side in the 9th.
  2. Alright...that strikeout could be the momentum swing to turn this season around.
  3. We gotta start playing better soon or there's no way we make the playoffs
  4. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jun 3, 2007 -> 02:48 PM) CURRENT UP TO DATE STATS FOR THE BULLPEN THIS ROAD TRIP!!!!! 14.2 IP 24 Hits 15 Runs 15 ER 10 Walks 80 Batters Faced .343 Opponents BA .425 Opponents OBP GO BULLPEN!!! Wow...thats pretty bad....but it seems like its been even worse. I could have sworn that opponents were batting at least .500 against our pen.
  5. I predict we win this game 10-9 as Paulie hits a walk off grand slam in the bottom of the ninth
  6. Could we score 10 runs in back to back games? (after not doing it all season til yesterday!)
  7. f*** it.....I gotta get high....this is too nerve wrecking
  8. I've got a nice joint rolled...but waiting til this game is officially over to light it up.
  9. Anybody have an extra ticket for either Saturday or Sunday? I'm contemplating a roadtrip from Vegas....but don't have any tix yet (I know they will probably be available outside the stadium....just prefer to sit with other fans of the Good Guys if at all possible).
  10. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Apr 21, 2007 -> 03:16 PM) what? In the scene where she's lying on the bed next to the guy, I saw something round and pink by her chest. Not a nip....just some bra sneaking out....I rewonund the DVR to check it for ya!
  11. QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ Dec 6, 2006 -> 10:34 AM) didn't we already discuss this BS already? I'm with you. Only problem, my tickets are paid for, almost. If we have to move that many gametimes, I'm sure it won't make 7-11 happy!
  12. QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Sep 13, 2006 -> 05:20 PM) TAKE HIS ASS BACK TO THE MINORS!!! BOOO!!! HOW DARE HE BLOW THE PERFECT GAME! Seriously though great win... Now lets see if we can take 2 of 3 from Oakland... Screw that....we taking brooms to Oakland!
  13. Was it a solid base hit at least? (I can't see the game) I hate it when no hitters are broke up with broken bat singles, etc.
  14. QUOTE(jenksd @ Sep 6, 2006 -> 08:16 PM) marlins 2 outs away. I'm predicting a single with 2 outs in the 9th
  15. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 6, 2006 -> 08:03 PM) Thanks Captain Obvious. Was it something special that made it "rule"? It preserved the no hitter.
  16. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 6, 2006 -> 08:01 PM) What happened? A double play
  17. I'm not sure why he struggles so much away from the Cell....but these splits are pretty drastic. SPLIT ERA W L Sv SvO G GS IP H R ER HR BB SO BAA Home 2.93 3 3 0 0 24 0 43.0 30 14 14 7 14 32 .197 Away 5.83 0 2 0 1 22 1 29.1 32 19 19 5 13 21 .281 Opponents are batting almost 100 points better on the road and the ERA is almost 3 runs higher! I have extreme confidence when he takes the mound at home....but in a tight game on the road, he needs to stay on the bench in the bullpen.
  18. Dye deserves consideration for league MVP....although he's hardly mentioned as a canidate. The guy is having a monster season though and the Sox would trail the Tigers by at least 10 games without him.
  19. First of all, let me preface that I'm rooting for this team to repeat and definitely feel that they are capable of doing so......however, MLB has had 6 different World Series champs in the last 6 years. Last years success was enough to fuel me for a few years and I will continuously support this team in every way possible as long as one championship is given to me every 10 years for the rest of my life. With a payroll of about $100 million and guys like Kenny Williams and Ozzie Guillen calling the shots, I have not doubts that this mesure of success will easily be surpassed. However, if the majority of fans call seasons like this a failure and quit supporting the organization, you can count on our leaders losing their jobs and payroll being trimmed back to $65-70 million. We'll all be lucky to see another title in our lifetime if that is the case.....and I personally find the thought of this extremely depressing. Let's enjoy what the organization has done (and what it is doing for the future). Unless the fan support of this team forces the operation to change, a title will come again soon (possibly this year). Don't let a loss or two (or even a bad month or a bad season) ruin your undying support of this organization.....things are good in Sox town and I have way more confidence in this team now than I did during hte lean years.
