I never really wanted to try anything other than Oscar Meyer after growing up on them, but a few years ago I grabbed a package of Vienna because they were on sale. I put those things on the grill and never looked back. To me its the closest thing you can have to a ballpark dog because thats what most vendors use. Yummmmmmmy. I usually get their Jumbo dogs too, and let them plump up bigtime on the grill for a while, until they look like they are gonna pop

Why do women like circumcised men? Because they can't resist 10% off ************************************* An unmarried woman is newly pregnant and gets into an auto accident. She suffers a head injury and lapses into a coma for nine months. When she awakens in the hospital, she panics and asks about her baby. Her doctor is called in and gives her a mild sedative, then he sits down to answer her questions. "I'm so happy to see you recovering", he says. The woman responds, "Thank you doctor, but what about my baby? Is everything all right?" He replies, "Yes, despite your injury, we were able to perform a fairly normal delivery procedure." "In fact," he goes on, "you've given birth to twins - a boy and a girl". The woman is very happy and asks when she can see her new babies. The doctor replies, "Right away, but we've already sent the infants home with your brother. We'll call and tell him you're okay. While you were unconscious, your brother took care of everything for you. He even gave the babies names." At this point, the woman gets upset, "Doctor, my brother is an idiot! What name did he give my little girl?" The doctor answered that her name was Denise. "Oh, Denise, that's not so bad. What name did he give my boy?" The doctor answered, "Denephew". *************************** A couple drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word. An earlier discussion had led to an argument and neither of them wanted to concede their position. As they passed a barnyard of mules, jackasses, and pigs, the wife asked sarcastically, "Relatives of yours?" "Yep," the husband replied, "in-laws."

QUOTE(kevin57 @ Jan 29, 2006 -> 09:51 AM) I thought the article was well-written as well. Agree or disagree, he does know baseball better than most. I would certainly hope so, he is paid to write about it

http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...-home-headlines Good article, although I dont agree with this:

The incarnation of Ivan Drago before our very eyes. This guy looks half bear.

LOL, If they sign Timo Perez instead of Durazo or Hansen, we have won this battle already. Durazo would somewhat scare me in a Twins uniform, and Dave Hansen has been clutch off the bench his entire career.

QUOTE(wilmot825 @ Jan 28, 2006 -> 06:41 PM) it was just a sox jersey, no one on the back...but it was bought at grandstand in 2001 Are you going to show us the picture, or are you just going to keep pretending you are Bobby Jenks?

QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Jan 28, 2006 -> 04:47 PM) Well Detroit has s***ty weather from what I've heard. Comerica took a little over 2 years to build. It didnt happen over an off-season. I agree that the seats are taking a little longer than you would think to replace, but the Sox are doing so many little things at the same time, I think they are just spacing out the work.

QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Jan 28, 2006 -> 04:43 PM) Is that not true? LOL

QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Jan 28, 2006 -> 04:34 PM) how is that trashing somebody. He never said Thome Sucks or anything like that. No Josh, he is throwing Thome rose bouquets, :headshake

The Birdman is suspended from the NBA

QUOTE(Leonard Zelig @ Jan 28, 2006 -> 03:53 PM) Meth is for poor WT people. NBA players can afford good coke. Coke doesnt keep you as high, as long as meth does. It could be alot of different things really, the list of "abuse" drugs encompasses alot. He could have been on X or LSD for all we know. -
QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Jan 28, 2006 -> 03:45 PM) His 2005 ba, obp, and slg were worse than his career numbers, so I don't so how you can call those "normal". And like I said before, he got more work in 2004 than ever before, plus he had the broken hand in 2005. There are a lot of other explanations for that year. 2003 is somewhat suspicious, just based on the numbers and the timing. But there's nothing else that I know of that points to him. What were his injuries in 2002? Dont know what his injuries were specifically, but he only played in 109 games and had the worst year in his career if he wasnt injured. Does anyone know of a website that lists a players injuries from year to year? Its tough to find that kind of info.
-
I just think its strange that the guy hits .233 in 2002 and is injured, and comes back in his walk year and hits better than he ever did in his entire career, carry that over through 2004(curiously when the harsher drug testing began) and then comes back to his normal numbers of batting around .278 in 2005.

QUOTE(Felix @ Jan 28, 2006 -> 03:07 PM) He wasn't really suspended, he was kicked out. He can apply for reinstatement in 2 years, but that still wouldn't make this a suspension Po-Tay-Toe Po-Tah-Toe -
QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Jan 28, 2006 -> 02:33 PM) about Lopez losing weight and the workout program that he was on. It wasn't steroids thats for sure. Hmm, I am sure SI came out with plenty of articles in 1998 about Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa's "workout programs".
-
QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Jan 28, 2006 -> 01:46 PM) no but based on the fact that he lost about 20 pounds in 2003 that wouldn't be taking roids. your arguments are always so strong and top notch josh.....

QUOTE(sayitaintso @ Jan 28, 2006 -> 12:06 PM) I would agree, but they didn't publicly say what it was yet, or did they? I dont think it will be revealed either. I think it is in the CBA that an "abuse" drug is not to be revealed. -
QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Jan 28, 2006 -> 01:29 PM) he was never on the juice. Did your sources tell you this?

I just think Frank is an injury risk that is much greater than Thome. Frank has missed much more time in the past 5 years, and his current injury is just so hard for a big man to recover from. The combination of Konerko/Thome>Konerko/Thomas>Thomas/Thome just based on numbers alone in the past 5 years. When injuries are factored in, it just becomes worse and makes less sense to try and hope that his ankle will somehow recover, like we hoped last year. I wish Thomas the best, I just dont think his ankle will ever allow him to perform for an entire season again.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jan 28, 2006 -> 09:53 AM) I was the same way about jazz for a long time. It all sounded like 6 guys playing 6 different songs at once. There is rap and then there is hi-hop. K-Fed is rap, Eric B. and Rakim is hip-hop. It's like any style of music KG, you have to listen to a lot of it to develop any basis for comparison......and it's not on the radio or MTV. The more music you listen to, the less lilely you are to be impresssed by something mediocre. I'm not sure how much you've listened to, but I bet you'd develop at least an appreciation for it. Some rappers have an extraordinary ability to tell a story when they are rapping, and thats what sets them apart in my eyes. Lots of people repeatedly attack Eminem for his songs, but when you look at them they have an incredible amount of depth(not as much recently as his first efforts). PopoZow is a beat, and not all that good of a beat, and a few "raps" over the top. The guy is telling a story about getting Brazilian Ass on the floor. That should tell you enough right there.
