You ask us to consider a situation in which the Cubs would "lend" us their best players because they are out of contention(which they are not). Did you expect honest "Yeah that sounds like a great idea!" responses? What purpose would a best of 5 All-Star series serve? Not to mention the fact that All-Stars wouldnt want to play an extra 5 games a season while the rest of the league gets 5 days off, or what would happen should an All-Star get hurt while playing the All-Star series. It just doesnt have any real purpose. Ask an honest, plausible question. Get an honest, plausible answer. Ask a stupid, theoretical question.....you get the idea.

I couldn't believe that a self professed "Good Catholic" could spew that sort of crap out of her mouth...at least not without that nights meal. being a catholic(not practicing, but still of the faith), i still have no idea where some of these people get their ideas and why they feel the need to push them on everyone else. My grandmother was a devout catholic, and she had some crazy ideas about herself. One time she caught my dad smokin doobs when he was a teenager and proclaimed that "pot will turn you gay. I now have a gay son". Thankfully that wasnt the case, otherwise I wouldnt be here

Buehrle was asked today after the game by Mac Jurko&Harry who he thought should start the All Star game. He said Kenny Rogers, Roy Halladay, then maybe Garland. Then he said he might be in the running, but he didnt think that he was as good as the previous guys he mentioned. He is such a great interview, so relaxed and candid.
