I mean, let him finish the inning at this point. He got those two outs might as well let him try and finish it instead of cannon coming in and possibly blowing it

And when Benetti did it, it was to work elsewhere, not to go home and chill -
Skubal falling apart yesterday was an ominous sign

Nah, this is exciting. One of the most disappointing things I had ever seen was when the 1993 Giants and Braves ended with 103 and 104 wins and the Giants went home. Having so many different teams with actual stakes with a week left is fun

The way Hawk says it, it was just “bye, enjoy retirement” -

Unfortunately this does fall within the purview of his job description. So, to answer your question, Jerry made him all of those things -

I am a GREAT googler tyvm tell me tray, are Sox fans supposed to have a seat at the table for this negotiation? Are we to be privy to the deal? Is this common with other organizations? Seems like you believe that this “behind closed doors negotiation” is nefarious and because you weren’t called to approve it, it’s now to be doubted. Jerry made this deal, no? maybe you should be mad at him

Lions are taking it to Baltimore so far

There are 18 teams in the majors who have ties to Private Equity Firms. 62 US pro teams.

I think a huge elephant in the Rb room is Roschon. We are getting absolutely nothing from the guy who is supposed to be the change of pace back, the bruiser. So Swift is overexposed and they clearly don’t trust Monangai yet. it’s absolutely maddening how Poles has treated obvious needs going into every season

Lmao I speak for the board when I say, with sincerity, this is fvking hilarious. So fvking funny

Most consecutive 100-loss seasons in MLB history

There isn’t much to trade here. Not sure what fan frenzy you mean, none of us want to see this team continually recycling -
It’s amazing to me that Jerry is about to throw out a roster with a payroll of around 50M and we are getting lectured by tray about the dangers of Private Equity Firms like they aren’t already all over professional sports. OH NO I DONT WANT THE SOX TO BE LIKE THE DODGERS! let’s all keep wishing the perfect multibillionaire walks in that door and gives us all what we want

that’s an awesome breakdown for the team, they were really excited to do that for him

I give a fivick about professional sports

Ben’s offense showed up, and Flus’s defense was here. It was a good day! 🐻⬇️

What do you mean, he came from the Bills

You would think the bears were getting torched again reading these last couple posts

Owners are already demanding a cap. It’s not likely they play a full season if anything in 27

2025 MLB season...catch-all for non-Sox, non AL-Central

Buddy was flying, he almost caught the courtesy runner lol -
Even in this breakout year he only accrued 0.8 WAR. He was super hot early in the season (May) and then cratered for 2 of the 3 final months of the season. Power numbers went down and just wasn’t very consistent. Not sad to see him gone, the Sox need to do better
